Re: Has the demo changed your mind about buying Madden 13?

I was going to buy the game but after the demo, I am not sure. The gameplay is good, but the graphics are just terrible. I hate when EA does this. Makes improvements in one area, and goes back in another. If they kept same graphics as 12, i'd be very happy.

I played 12 the other night and absolutely enjoyed it. So I'll probably go with 12 and wait and see about 13. I just don't want to spend $60 on a game where they've gone backwards in one area when they didnt need to.

Buy for sure. But the demo changed my mind in a way. At first I wanted to buy it on 360 and after playing the demo on 360 and PS3. I'll go with the PS3 version. Looks better to me, more clean, better range of color (esp. in the shadow)

Is it perfect? No, but it's amazing and they FINALLY fixed the atmosphere/crowd/announcer issues.

Can't wait for the 28th, best football game ever.
Wow, you like it that much? I really wish I had a game I found that great to buy.

I do applaud EA for the "new enhancements" in the demo. Hopefully this build is a long time ago and since been ironed out. I will not make my purchase till after I download it next weekend for the real test.

I won't be buying. Too much looks and feels the same. Sad but true.

I will most definitely be purchasing Madden 13. At first I was on the fence, but the IE is pretty cool, although at times it is quirky and a bit awkward, in the end it's a step in the right direction and a newer more realistic Madden feel. The hitting is cool, especially having to really square up to make a clean hit and the piles are sweet too. The only thing I'm trying to figure out still is does it look like they took a step back with field/stadium graphics and players a bit this year?? r this that just me....

Deifiintely getting it early with the EA Season Ticket though

                Not yet.

I'm still at "Hold" and it's still in doubt if/when I'll get this year's game.

The idea of just waiting until M14 when, hopefully, the trenches get addressed is still weighing very heavily in my mind.

bro.. new rosters with Madden 12 feel great! Got some nice draft classes and still have fantasy drafts! I've NEVER done this before by skipping a year in a game. I've bought all NHL, NBA, Madden & NCAAs each year, and now MLB The Shows. The new engine is pretty much broken but it's the first year so hopefully next year they'll have the ragdoll animations fixed. I know I only played the demo but that's pretty much the finished product and shame on them if they put a crappy demo that doesn't impress. Just nice to play without animations of a guys whole body looking like a crash test dummy in a accident every play.

Yes. I have hated the past few maddens, but the gameplay is tons better in my opinion and I love the physics engine. I'm buying this game at midnight on release day.

Curious. Have you looked at the videos of the retail version or just going off the demo? By my eyes, the retail version is fine tuned better.

That was a demo though, the retail version cleaned up the IE for one on one tackles, and a couple on gang tackles.
