I gotta say it again.. Mike Young did a crazy good job with the zoom cam...the more i see gameplay video's with zoom cam footage..the more i am falling in love with it. I think he hit the nail on the head with how the zoom cam reacts to both passing and running plays...to me its the best zoom cam i have ever seen in a football videogame outside of past football games that had custom cam's.

Its low and close enough to bring you into the action much more and really makes runni9ng the ball look a heck of a lot more immserive which means more fun running the ball.

Pass looks good too..at first i sorta thought it should pan up in height a bit when zoom cam goes to a passing play but i think its fine the way it is.

Now i will be royally pissed off if this zoom cam is removed. I can wait a bit for a patch but if they remove this option for CC....that will ruin it all for me.

That standard cam is way too high....that standard cam really should be called "high" cam...seriously its too far up there in the sky. At first i was ok and accepting it but now that i have seen the zoom cam...i would have a hard time having to resort back to the standard cam.

I agree. I fell in love with Madden 10's zoom cam. It was very close to this years, accept Madden 13's zooms out just a bit more to see wr's during pass(even better!). The graphics this year though make Madden 13's zoom cam look incredible. I like the motion blur too. Much better then the gaussian blur style they have used in the past.

We need to do everything we can to promote a zoom camera patch on this game ASAP!

I love this cam because it gives you a good perspective of everything that's going on around, like the stadium towering over the players, and good depth perception of the field (like the Bills video of them starting at their own goal line). It makes it a bit more "intimidating," if you will.

Also, the fact that the camera is lower gives the players on the field "height," so they no longer look small and awkward. To me, this makes player animations and such look a whole heck of a lot better. It's a minor thing, but hopefully EA will realize that little things like that can go a lot further than Twitter feeds, Nantz' ties, etc...

Is the zoom cam set the same distance and angle on ps3? I assume it is but I thought the standard cam almost seemed a bit further out on ps3 demo versus xbox. That could be my imagination though. The camera looks amazing...really excited for this game.

Man, I am not the type to hype up a game when it doesn't deserve it, but I have to just say that these zoom camera videos are really showing that the game looks much better then I thought. Not just in graphics, but in gameplay movement, and even player models seam pretty good for the most part.

I want to give them credit where credit is due. I said I would speak positive when I saw improvements, and that's exactly what I am seeing in these close up(zoom cam) gameplay videos.

I am really surprised they want to hide there game so much with the standard cam. Just going back and playing some last gen football games, or even some Madden games from a few years back makes you realize how zoomed out the standard cam has become.

Anyway, I'll stop "hyping" this cam, but I am very impressed. That is something I haven't been able to do in a very long time in a NFL football game. Usually I'm on here and let down by Madden. This is great!

Hope a lot of the guys I respect on here, who haven't been happy with Madden(and rightly so!) get a chance to view these videos. I really think the cam shows off more improvements then they might have realized. Sure did for me.

I am probably going to wait for Madden 14. Sadly, this was a big one for me.

This is bad news. I really getting excited for the zoom camera and I would have made this my default. We miss out on a lot of eye candy with the camera set up the way it is.

I'm actually encouraged by what I'm seeing in a lot of major areas this season. With the zoom cam I just think it's a shame to waste a good thing. If the zoom camera is already in play now then what is holding them back from CCM? I'm missing something.

What's missing is what they aren't saying. They went on and on about changing the coding of the game to be one code instead of three...and now, we are clearly seeing that the game has two separate codes - everything you can do in Play Now Mode - everything you can do in CCM.

EA becomes a bigger joke everyday. First they drop baseball, cant get it together to make and NBA game and take a year off. Please 2K step up to the plate and show how games are suppose to be made. THIS is just crap!!! This game is starting to sound like the biggest disappointment of the year!!!

That's a nice cam! The only problem I see is when running outside, you can only see about 5 yards outside of the ball carrier. If a press CB blitzes or is not blocked by the WR, seems like you wouldn't see it until it was too late.

Swing passes might be a problem too.

Other than that, that's a sweet cam. Hope they get it sorted out for everyone that wants to use it.

Yes because 2ks baseball games are so good. They have already said the are working on making the zoom cam work in ccm.
