my man you have no idea how happy you just made me and a lot of people..thanks again. just my opinion but madden is finally back this year. the gameplay is great and i for one am impressed on how much improvements went into this ONE cycle..keep up the good work

Xbox/PS3 memory issues come into play. I don't have all the details but it always something our developers have to be conscious about.

How is it that they come in to play with the Madden franchise but not for NHL or say Fifa? Whats is so different that makes Madden not able to achieve
what these do? Gameplay set aside, thats a different story. I do believe those games do alot more things(RIGHT) than what Madden does at the moment in their Career Modes, I could be wrong tho. Again, I could be wrong but i rarely hear about nagging issues in Franchise mode for those games.

Im a former CPU programming student. I would really enjoy discussing with a dev, or you could for me, about what makes Madden's Career mode have difficulties with XBOX/PS3 memory.

2. Be knowledgeable about the sport
3. Give constructive feedback
4. Advocate for the community
5. Be knowledgeable in your analysis of games
6. Be able to carry yourself with integrity
7. Be creative

This is where I personally do not believe that the most important item on this "list" is being used as criteria for picking GameChangers. First off, #2 should be paramount and carry more weight than anything else on that list. Secondly, you have a GameChanger who has proven himself 30 times over to know NOTHING about the sport of football, yet he still gets invited back over people who have WAY more football knowledge than he does.

That's probably the reason why the 4 man pass rush is still BROKEN to this day. Apparently you can only get pressure on the QB by blitzing constantly, because we were told by this "GameChanger" THAT'S the way it works the real NFL (we can't expect 4 rushers to ever beat 5 blockers is what was said), 2011 New York Giants, 2011 Philadelphia Eagles and 2011 Detroit Lions (to a lesser degree) defensive lines be damned.

This person however is a HUGE supporter of the Madden franchise, and it seems pretty clear that overrides his obvious lack of basic football knowledge and keeps him in the GameChangers program anyway.

This x 1000. People were MAD when 12 released with no improvements to franchise.

Madden 12 franchise was infinitely better to me and my friends as we could actually play the game in co-op.

A team-based sports title without co-op is unheard of so from our perspective CCM is a monumental step backwards.

It probably literally takes 30 seconds to change the quarter length of simulated games to solve the stats issue.

What is this? Game Face? Nobody on here even takes interest in it and that's what you patch?

I guess I'm left playing Play Now and Online CCM whenever the server is actually stable for the next couple months.

Don't even want to trade it in because Game Stop is just as much failure as this.

Gibbs and Farls provide valuable information on how to fix glitches and nano blitzes in the game. You guys would be surprised to see what they uncovered the many days and hours they spent in the studio.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

If those guys wasn't there, are you saying we would see even more bugs & glitches?

Are they even gonna address the horrible slow-as-a-snail replay system, which can't be turned off? Not only can you not turn it off, EA will punish you if you skip it by making the score/down-and-distance overlay disappear. The replay system is so aggravating. Yes, EA I can see you have fancy graphics and a new physics but can you slow it down and zoom in a little more. smh

I tried to tell everyone not to expect much to get fixed on the first patch update. The bugs that have been flying around and being discovered the last few weeks might be covered in the next title update.

This patch is for everything that was caught once the game went gold. ie stability issues, etc... even GameFace.

And you know, I get that. I really do.

However, the offline CC is broken. It's almost to the point of saying it's a broken game.

I paid my 60 bucks, and I deserve to have a working game.

I can live with some AI issues. But major functions of the CC, like schemes and injuries make it a completely wasted experience.

What I don't get is how it can be fixed online, but they haven't fixed it for offline. Since they got it working online, it can't be that hard to just push it over to offline as well.

I don't have access to xbox live gold, so online does junk for me. And in fact, I wouldn't buy a gold sub just to play CC online anyway.

I can excuse that these game-breaking bugs made it to offline in the first place, but I paid for this game on launch day, and at this point I still can't play offline CC because it's broken.

So, how is it that people complaining shouldn't be? I don't care about the missing fantasy draft, the editing of players (though i'd like to see it) or any of the other "game types" that people are whining about.

I took the game for what it was, what was advertised. And when half the functions of offline CC don't work...why shouldn't I be unhappy?

I have patience, but I can't understand how it can be working online and still not getting fixed for offline. If EA wants to give me access to online while I wait for the offline update, I'd be fine with it. But I didn't read anywhere on the case for the game that said I would need to pay more money to play the game I paid for in a working condition.

And by having to upgrade to gold to do just that...yeah, excuse me if I am unhappy with Madden 13 right now. Assuming they ever get these things fixed, this will be my favorite Madden since 2005. But for now, it's a 60 dollar paperweight to me.

Please Tiburon, im begging here, Invite some true football intellectuals to test out the game and give feedback?

I understand that Inviting tournament players to find glitches but thats all i believe they should have input on, unless of course they actually have realistic gameplay suggestions!

Invite some people on here! We OSers would gladly give you a list of the people that deserve to go if thats what you need!

ps. Since NBA LIVE will be going under pretty soon, EA should redirect those resources to Madden their cash cow! Hire more programmers just for bug/glitch detection, Hire more capable gampeplay code writers and animators, just do something!!! Please...

wow seriously gameface? Are u f kidding me it better be more then that. Offline guys can't even play a normal season with all the bugs. Wow EA u finally took the cake for dropping the ball in gaming history. The masses have spoken and its clearly evident taht the masses arent the folks that frequent Operation Sports.
Game Face is a huge priority for the masses, that would be the young kids and casuals.
THE ability to edit rosters etc, is for teh die hard sim heads.
This brief discription of a patch, clearly indicates what EA's priority is when it comes to Madden. Hint: it aint us.
