Sorry for my ignorance but I have a few questions:

How exactly are these files different then the RateSports rosters?

When you create a team, is THAT team the only team with your added unique edits and the rest of the teams on that roster file are just the RateSports roster....or have you made your special edits to every team on that roster?


Finally, besides just player ratings, have game plans and Play styles for each team been modified to reflect that particular NFL team or is that not possible with these modded roster files?


One more,....Can I make any trades or transactions of players once the ROster file has been loaded before I start a season or will that throw everything out of whack?


Did you do the GIants or Jets yet?

Well, these ARE Ratesports rosters with my customized edits applied. The main difference is in the gameplay. Everything is a bit more explosive and faster yet very realistic.

My edits are applied to every player in the file. Therefore, all the teams have been edited.

Its possible. However, I can only edit player ratings, tiers, abilities, appearance, and equipment.

If you attempt to edit the team it will cause the game to freeze. You can, however, adjust the depth chart as well as manage formation subs and customize the playbook.

I'm VERY seriously considering getting a refurb'ed 360 just for Hex editting capabilities since I've started playing again...

Hey I just checked this out and I used xport360 I dont know if it matters or not but when I load up the game after I put the file on there and at the start screen it says unable to load roster do I have to use a USB or is there a method for using xport I just tried the USB method and it still says unable to load I used the SAINTS file I dont know if that one is corrupt or not but thats the only one I tried

Got 2k8 today going to take the rest of today maybe tomorrow off from 2k5 roster making to play this will post stats. cant wait to try these!

Same here lost my damn usb so was hoping to use xport. Whenever I put the Bears file on there it shows the Americans

really? I can't get my xport working for it. Might buy a usb tomorrow hopefully I can get it working.
Other than that the default game plays wonderful actually I think the default game is the greatest overall gameplay I have ever seen in a sports game. If these improve it then that will be the icing on the cake.
I love seeing Anthony Munoz an Offensive Tackle just take over a game its remarkable.

Playing in the rain against Johnny U and Walter Marino goes to hand it off to Okoye who thanks the Munoz has a nice hole. Instead Marino slips falls to the turf and I lose a down. Mad at first but was also left stunned the gameplay is amazing.

If you followed steps then it should work.Once you get the process down, its so quick and easy you won't believe it

just remember to make sure and delete the roster on your harddrive before you copy the new one from the usb over to the harddrive. You can't have more than one roster on it at a time, or it will tell you unable to load, atleast that is what i have discovered after several tries.

Yeah this game is definetley the bees knees lol in ratesports updated rosters I threw a pick with ben and it showed him on the sidelines he was pissed and he said "son of a *****" now i see the E 10+ mild language
