Looks like that was 60 bucks well-saved......this from the Madden 13 gameplay impressions thread....
Emmdot can you find out a rough ETA on when a expected patch could be available. Reason being is there is some game breaking issues for CCM Leagues and I think many of us are trying to find a correct avenue on how to handle this. Do we wait for a patch or do we continue & expect the patch will work with current online CCMs.
Also as far as feedback is concerned, I was more or less just speaking out load my dissatisfaction. There was not a great deal of "feedback" in my post.
If you want some feedback it would be this.
1) Infinity Engine was never ready for public consumption in my honest opinion. It needed another year or more before being even remotely close to ready for retail release. The engine has some upsides, but the negatives and funkiness it brings into the game is far more than the positives currently. For every 1 good thing you see from IE, you will see 20 or more gut wrenching negatives.
2) Bug Bugs Bugs Bugs.............What more needs to be said, the Q&A the last several years has been flat out horrible. I don't know who you need to pass this on to, but something HAS to be done about how the street dates are met. Forcing consumers such as myself and thousands of others to purchase a game that has so much broken we don't get the fully function product we initially purchased until 6 months after via patches should never exist. At that rate we should all stop supporting EA upon release and start waiting 6 months till all patches and tuners are out and the game is 30 bucks. This would remove a lot of head ache, wasted time, and wasted money.
3) Unfinished Beta appearance. There is no other way around it, when you start digging into the game everything feels unfinished. Freezing at the depth chart screen, schemes not saving in online CCM, gameflow can't be turned off in online gameflow, accelerated clock does not work in online CCM, injuries resetting after each game, and several other smaller issues.
When something as small as the kicking meter is not even center it gives off the vibe that if they can't do that correct there is no wonder so much else was not finished.
For instance, if the game was tested ONCE........ONLY ONCE......by anyone they would of seen the issue with punters being subbed out in preseason. Then having all punts for CPU or HUM only go 10 yards or so. How does this make it past testing?????? My only explanation is two fold 1) It was found and just sent through knowing the issue and passing it on to us until a patch would fix it. or 2) The game was never tested. I vote the first option, they found the issue and just choose to push it on anyway just for the sake of making street date. Unacceptable in my opinion.
4) "Physics that you can <s>feel</s> Laugh at". This goes back to the IE engine not being ready for retail release. Just slightly different angle. How can the developers sit and play this copy of the game and not just grimace every time they see how bad the physics are being represented right now. Watching running backs run into a lineman and then both explode away from each other like a small stick of explosive was between them. Watching two guys lay on the ground stuck to the ground until the next play or how bout watching them just laying on each other completely stuck how to get up. I don't understand the mindset that this was ready for street release. I would understand it much more so if the issues happened far less, for instance for every 10 good things 1 wonky thing happened. It is the complete opposite rate currently.
5) Lastly, I will say I was extremely confident in Madden this year. I LOVE NCAA 13 and thought all the features it was bringing to the table that were also in madden were going to be even better with more development time. Sadly this was not the case, it does nothing better and fails at many things NCAA has working great. For one gameplay balance is just not currently there for Madden, tweaking and gameplay tuners are going to be required.Comment

Liking the roster I'm using the Eagles . I've played about 6-8games
against the Saints Bree's adjustments at the line are crazy very smart player I recall one time it was 4th down and 1 and they were going for it the whole time he was trying to hard count someone off the line to get the 5yard penalty the play clock got to 2 and he called timeout and brought out the punter. This game is so fluid its just crazy how it would've been if it was being developed up until now.
I also played against Arron Rodgers ( Never doing it again ) he's way to accurate and the packer defense is too nice great experience though lost by 14.
Everything in the roster are great I really like it just wondering what settings and sliders are you guys playing on . I already have it on fast gameplay but it just seems my players drop wide open catches. And Vicks throws can be mislead alot for some reason I don't know if its because I use rocket arm from time to time or what. Also my offensive line doesn't hold up too long sometimes they do sometimes they don't. All and all I like this update thanks alot !Comment

eww the New York giAINTS haha ill give it a try . how long until you get that eagles file up ? read your pc crashed or something ? & will you be doing package teams like RateSports had . like top 8 NFL teams , NFC North , AFC South ect ect. . . ?

That'll be for you to decide because people have different criteria for things. But personally, I'd say the passing game is maybe smoother. You can get into a really good rhythm with a good qb, especially with a solid OL. Check it out and post your thoughts when u get time...Comment

First off Kanobi, I wanted to say thank you and RS for all the time and effort you put into these rosters and taking the time to answer our questions. That being said...... I can't get your Buccaneers roster to load. I'm going step by step and I still get the "can't load the roster" prompt. I'm very familiar with ratesports rosters and they load up fine when I do the same steps. I updated Modio but it still didn't help.
I haven't been able to peek at what you've done to the bucs roster but I'm hoping you updated the uniforms and logo. I mentioned that the Bucs uni's looked closer to the Falcon's back in the NFL2K12 version. I'm assuming RS just never got a chance to revisit that portion of the updates. I think the Swashbuckler's logo works great but the colors are off. I would also give the Bucs the stadium with the pirate ship and call it Raymond James Stadium.
Also hoping the next update has Doug Martin as a Bronze or Silver tier. The Bucs should be a solid running team with Martin and Blount running behind that line.
What I have been doing is editing the player's attributes in the edit player menu. This doesn't mess anything up, but you are limited to what you can edit (can't change position or tier without taking the player off the team). I've edited some teams and it changes the generics back to the defaults but it doesn't freeze or lock anything up. It plays just fine, but not with the full Bucs roster. But I still can play my version of the Bucs against the other NFL teams which is cool.
Any advise on how to get your Bucs file working for me would be great. Thanks again.Tampa.........

These files look legit. I'm trying to get the Bills file updated and would love for you to create a file for them.
I was also trying to change their away uniform for the original RS season roster file. If anyone knows how to edit them to alter the uni's without messing with the file, I'd love to hear how.
Many thanks and great work to ALL for keeping this great game alive. Madden 13 is decent this year, but still not near 2k IMO.Comment

wilson81thomas - These are Ratesports rosters with my custom edits applied. Therefore its doubtful they can be used online
Also - for those for whom the files work fine - PLEASE.....if its not too much trouble - post some feedback!!! ....PLEAS!!! lol....D*mn!....Whenever somebody asks for a team to be done...I do it...upload it....they download it....and I never hear from em again. WTF?? I just want some gameplay impressions....stats...game summaries....somethin. Even if it sucks...post that! "Kanobi, your edits suck! And here's why...."....give me somethin!
