Has anyone gotten a reply from Sega about this?

I wrote them a letter on Wednesday, and still no reply.

I have a model 1 Xbox, and over 500 songs. None of which I have any intention of parting with. I don't care if it won't let me use my custom soundtracks, but I'd like to at least be able to listen to the in-game music while in the Crib. It's too quiet while I'm playing paper football, and the trivia game.

The soundtracks work you guys just don't know what you're doing. i loaded over 10 songs already and at first i thought that it didn't work but it does you just gotta switch to the page that says now playing and your songs will be there if you scroll down.

yes...that's true...it doesn't work for people that have 10 gazillion songs though.

Or...anybody with over 125 songs.

My custom soundtracks are working fine, and even though I have plenty of songs, I have them broken up into different folders. (Maybe this is why?) Anyhow, there's only thing I dislike about the custom soundtracks (aside from them not playing over the PA) and it's that everytime I go into my crib it plays the same song as the last time. And yes, I have it set to 'shuffle' but it always starts with the same song. The songs should be played randomly when you enter.

FWIW, my jukebox worked fine - until I burned a bunch of new music last night. I discovered that it will not recognize your HD's music files unless the individual playlists are under 20 tracks - the Jukebox has that many "open" slots on the lefthand side and I guess any playlists on your HD with more than 20 tracks will screw up ALL efforts by the Jukeboz to recognize your catalog.

I had one particular playlist that had 26 tracks, so I moved a few over to a new list and went back into the Crib - wham, everything on my HD was there! Not a backbreaker, but it'd have been nice to get some warning in the manual. I pity the dudes who have like gigantic playlists and are either screwed or have to do a lot of HD editing.

It is cool, though, to be playing everything in my Crib from Kid Rock to 80's Wang Chung!
