26, The best complete game was probably 2k5 but in terms of a game in which to play a game of football 2k8 is easily the best. If it had a franchise mode it would have been the best football game even hands down no question but with that game it would be tough to design a fitting franchise mode. Techmo bowl was nice for its time but really can't compete with current games.

I voted for madden 05.

Strong list though. Tecmo and Super Tecmo were both great for their times but I got the most play out of 05. 2k5 is also close due to its amazing presentation but it didnt have the franchise replayability for me that madden 05 had.

32. 2k5. Played alot when it came out, and then alot this year since I didn't like Madden. GR18's rosters are great!

Allpro 2k8>2k5>>Tecmo Super Bowl/GameDay 99>>>Madden

Madden just can not get specific team play right nor player likeness. That alone make me feel like I am playing a generic football game on the field. Most people I know that play Madden do not even play the game on the field, they SIM seasons. To each his own.
