Anyone else get an Orson Welles-y, War of the Worlds kind of feel from this thread? I love all things football and gladly welcome any new experience, but I've read through this whole thread and, man, I just can't help but feel like this is a great job at hype, but for a thread this long already- there is no substance to it. There is a picture and another with some photoshop work done to it. If that is all there is, I think it's premature to posting about it.

I'll eat my words and apologize on a grand scale if I'm wrong, but my guess is that it is more likely that I'll be saying, "Told ya," (cause I'm just like that).

Not hating, just making an educated observation.

Ya, I kind of had a feeling on this being a stretch from from day 1. I tried pushing for a update a few times just to see what would be said. He just kept saying I have a update coming soon....but then he made the mistake and said I should have something out this month. That was almost 3 months ago, and not a word since then.

I doubt it was a hoax. It probably just ended up being WAY more work than he previously thought, and the project folded.

Wouldn't you think he would have said something by now instead leaving everyone in limbo? He does post elsewhere on the forums at times...I think most of us knew what this was from the start.

I went back and read from the beginning. There was even someone banned when they doubted the project.

It would be nice for Watcher to make a post explaining things. He got me anxious to see what he could do.

I still don't think it was a hoax. Again, though, he should explain things..
