Yeah, I'm not a social gaming guru, Facebook included, I know Ian went to a company after EA to develop FB and mobile games, so, I'm not sure if it's as easy as 1, 2, 3.

I definitely admit a lack of knowledge, though.

And that kind of comes back to what Damon actually does. If he's not the head developer and just a guy who works on the game, then his prior workings don't matter all too much.

It'd be like a cook working at a small bakery, but then being hired by a multi-star restaurant.

No kidding! And that's putting A LOT of pressure on himself/themselves. Only way I could even see that being reasonable is if they were working with 2K somehow.

I hope they know what they're doing.

could this game have something to do with the old Backbreaker Football game mixed with some Montana flavor?

It's probably just a coincidence, but Natural Motion (the company that made Backbreaker) does have studios in San Francisco and England, which are two places that we've seen Damon Grow visiting.

Could Euphoria be incorporated into Unreal Engine 4? If so I would imagine Euphoria is much more advanced now than it was in 2010 with Backbreaker. There was all kinds of cool stuff NM had planned for it before they quit on Backbreaker.

I'd prefer NM not be anywhere near a football game.

Besides that, I think JMF needs to focus on their core animations before worrying about real-time physics. Madden made the mistake of leaping into RTP before doing that and it's been a disaster, and now in M15 guys are flopping around like wet towels and that's on top of the already terrible animations.

Backbreaker overall was a terrible game, but the physics were great. I made this video when the devs were talking about what the game could do.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

They got a lot of player interactions right. Chip blocks, double teams, tackles involving multiple defenders, players stretching for the goal line or first downs , mid air collisions. The post plays needed a lot of work and pretty much everything else was terrible, but I've always thought Euphoria physics had a ton of potential.

JMF 16 can steal the physics, the logo creator, and possibly the right stick passing from backbreaker (although I prefer 2ks route based button passing)... just keep everything else out.

As a graphic designer, it's been a lot of fun creating custom logos for friends on NCAA 14. I'm definitely hoping the customization aspects of the game can stand alone as it's own platform, as well. By doing so, it puts the onus on the community to use whatever tools it can find as opposed to adding one more task for the development team to have to create and implement said tools.

Many people on OS state copyright infringement limitations when it comes to implementing a similar Team Builder-like mechanic in new football IPs, yet I still wonder how NCAA Team Builder got around the legality of uploading trademarked logos. No one has ever seemed to have a definitive answer there.
