Pretty cool Damon took the time to watch. I tried, but couldn't finish the whole thing.

Have some cool ideas and I would really see it. I really hope, that Joe Montana Football 16 also come to PC and not just the consoles or mobile-****.

Good video. Thanks for posting. Ryan said he will post another one next week. Seems like things are just now getting rolling. Hopefully the next step is the opening of the forum.

Ive read that anyone can do a mobile NFL game but I thought I also read a while back that you could do a PC NFL game? Does anyone know the answer to that? Thanks!

Good stuff on youtube, just a few things.

-Not sure about the comment regarding Madden physically at Tiburon. That probably won't happen, I don't even know if he's been on a plane ride in his life. ie Maddenbus, the team usually goes to his man cave in January. He does consult on phone calls. He was the one that stood firm in 89 about 11 vs 11.

-I'd be shocked if the Madden team wasn't watching any of the older football games on the consoles. I know Ian's team had a loop going on 2k every day.

              Otherwise, good looking out.

Just hope this doesn't go the way of "The Smashmouth Project". (Do a search here, for those that don't know)

Seems as if Joe is fully entrenched in the project. I wonder what type of involvement Madden has at all with his game anymore. Hard to even call it "his game" at this point beyond his name being lended to it.

Back when this first started, he wouldn't even lend his name to the game until EA got it right. Today, I'm sure there is too much money out for him to flip the card table, but considering how many problems are in the game I'd say the same magnitude that made him demand upgrades in the beginning exists in a similar capacity today. Linemen standing around not knowing who to block is a pretty serious issue; football starts upfront. When that's not right everything else falls apart.

Yeah. Madden is up in age, but he still wants that dough, lol.

Joe looks real close to the operation. Would be cool if the game has a lot of Joe content. I remember back in the Sega CD days they had the Joe Montana game for it. Game was booty, but the Ask Joe feature was dope. Always thought about what it woulda been like if that was expanded on. Not sure that would be a thing to do these days, but just having him talk about football and his career as even like easter egg videos would be straight.

I agree, all I'm saying I'm sure when Madden first started out, he was just as passionate as Montana appears to be now.

Most projects/start-ups in the beginning phases are exciting, new and fresh. It depends on the individual on how long that will last?

Believe it or not, I actually sat through a whole season of that Joe Montana Football Sega CD game and won the Super Bowl. It was brutal. Then you had to play against legendary teams. I remember playing against the '68 Jets right after winning the Super Bowl. I'm pretty sure I quit for good right after that, plus the ending was, as I recall (and I could be wrong), literally nothing.

From reading some mags back in the day, the devs for the old Joe Montana Football games talked about how involved Joe was with the games and apparently he was pretty involved. Would be great if we could get that kind of involvement permanently with this game.

It must be nuts to be a dev on that project just being able to work with Montana and having access to that level of football knowledge.

Nah. I couldnt stomach that man. The game moved so slow and choppy. I rarely ever finished a full game. I was mad, like "U MAD?" level mad

Your recollection of over 20 years from a gaming magazine is amazing. I can't even remember the ratings for NBA Jam let alone articles articles of JM Sports Talk football.

                              Impressive.

This question piqued my interest, according to this article, the NFL exclusive covered PCs too, at least back in 2004. However, as many times as I have read this article, I somehow paid no attention to the fact that internet based games aren't covered and are allowed. Considering the depth of internet based games that's currently possible, I hope some company seizes on this, if NFL internet based games are viable.
