wow...the NFL is saying the game shouldn't have ended like that. and that the Giants should have had an untimed play to go. another chance to kick a field goal. awwww that's too bad tight there. i'm listening to WFAN New York and they are reporting it. they are getting official word from the NFL. and apparently, there was never pass interference called. it should have been called and an untimed down would have been played. at the original line of scrimmage. lol i'm listening and typing. wow....sorry to Giants fans.

The pass interference was irrelevant because the "receiver" was ineligible anywayz...

Now for all the giant / OSU fans. I will state what I said the other night on this board. It sure is wrong for a game to be decided by bad officiating.....aint it !!??.
For everyone of the OSU/Giant fans out there, you better not cry now about bad calls when it was cool to have a bad call decide a game the other night.Comment

No doubt P2k. My point was that people were making it sound like the Giants had a sure win if they had called it correctly.
I don't dispute the fact that they had a legit chance to win taken from them. It's just not a 100% sure thing they would have won the game had the call been made correctly.

How can a game end like this? I know they can't do anything, but something should be done. That's absolutely ridiculous. I hate REFEREES. That's the way the Giants season should end, with a miscall. How can the NFL allow this to happen? REDO the play!Comment

but there was like 4 players down field, so there was someone inelgiable. I just find it hard to believe that guy checked in with the reg and was ellgiable. Not like they knew they were going to run a fake. I dunno...fassell didnt seem real pissed if so. Something aint right.Comment

There's a difference between a judgment call by a referee, and just not following the rules. It's absolutely ridiculous that the Giants were screwed. I don't care if they blew the game, they still could have hit that field goal. Matt Bryant did it the week before against Philadelphia.Comment
