No way Favre is overrated, he was one of the best QB's in the league 2 years ago and was one of the best QB's in the league last year until he got hurt.

I suspect deep down, many Favre bashers are just JEALOUS. He's a legendary NFL Quarterback, his wife is hot, he's a stud who's never missed a game, he fills out his Wranglers nicely, sports a perfect 5 O' Clock shadow, ruggedly handsome, laser rocket arm, rippling arm and shoulder muscles, he's just dreamy, he's the man you'll never be.

I'm far from a Favre *****, just more realistic than you. The year he played well in GB was after a battle that got him to actually come to training camp, get chemistry with the team, pretty much what all normal QBs should do but he's run from since being put on a pedestal. Before that year, when he was being Brett in the preseason, he was progressively worse every year. Then last year, the Jets leaned on Jones while Brett was "getting used to the new offense" and outside of a freakish 6 td game, he wasn't really all that... but was good enough for what they wanted to do. As the season went on, his arm got worse, his confidence got higher and his mistakes increased (and as mentioned, Jones and others called out his decision making).

BTW, thinking people you don't know are jealous of a professional athlete says more about you than anyone else. May be taking things a little too personally.

They're not that far off IN THEORY, but we all know that 3 things will happen:

1. Favre will change things so much offensively for the Vikes that AP isn't going to get the carries he needs.
2. He's going to throw some game killing INTs
3. He'll break down midway through the year and actually make the Vikes WORSE.

I'll openly laugh at all those Vikes fans that now say they're on the way to the SB who in a few months time will say "Oh damnit I knew we shouldn't have brought Favre in!".

You won't see me do that, I don't like the move at all.
