I feel really bad already for the defender that will severely injure Favre this season.

He's literally one sack away from being carted off the field, motionless.

If that happens then it'll be just desserts for Favre and his ego the size of Jupiter. Sure the defender is gonna get a lot of hate but he's also going to get a lot of people congratulating him. (personally I find that distasteful but you know it's gonna happen)

Favre knows the consequences and if he goes down for good then that's his fate which he'll have to live with.

Did anybody see the Jared Allen clip yesterday? The reporter asked them if there was a schism in the locker room. He said something like, "Schism? When I first heard that I thought it was an STD. We advocate abstinence."

The way he said it was hilarious.

Re: Brett Favre=Mr. Overrated (Now officially back)

Favre is the most selfish player in the nfl and maybe all of sports. I think he used to be about the team and winning but now it is all about him and sadly the media and his followers just feed into his ego. It's sad he doesn't get criticized more often but it is simply a case where his reputation gives him the pass. If Owens did this type of crap then EVERYONE would be ragging on him but oh not, not golden boy brett.

If his selfishness wasn't bad enough, the guy is incredibly over rated and is the most boneheaded "all time great" in history. None of the other greats made as many stupid throws as favre does. People can go on about his td, yards, wins records all they want but he merely has those because he's played more games and thrown more passes than any other qb. I wouldn't even rank favre in the top 10 of the last 30 years:

Young (imo the best, slightly ahead of Peyton because Young could do it all and was the smartest of them all. Not his fault he didn't have the luxury to play with the 80s 9ers like Montana did)

Manning (has played his entire career with no real defense and an on/off run game and stupid predictable coaching yet there he is dominating at his job. Under Young because he still occasionally tries to force the ball to guys though he may pass Young in time)

Brady (he's under Peyton because SBs are a team accomplishment. Not Manning's fault the Patriots have a better team. Passing wise Peyton is the better qb though this could change in time. I don't care that Brady threw 50 tds...it took him 1 more game, multiple 4th qtr running up the score games and 87 or 89 more pass attempts than manning to throw one more. Manning in 04 would have had close to 60 if he passed it that much or probably 52 had he played in the reg season finale and Manning's supposed "off season" of last year was better than every other Brady season. Brady may jump ahead of Manning in time)

Montana (good but got lucky being on the team he was without a salary cap and real free agency to break it up. Young was the better passer and smarter thus logic says if given the same team he'd have done just as well SB wise)

Marino (played with crap yet put up big numbers. Negative was forcing the ball a bit too much)

Warner (he is a great qb though he fumbles too much. 2 plays go his team's way and he has 3 rings and suddenly everyone would be loving him. 2nd best career rating in the playoffs)

Elway (dealt with a mediocre supporting cast most of his career yet still did well)

Aikman (why do people give Brady so much love for the rings yet Aikman gets none? You can't logically pick and choose who gets credit for SB wins. If Joe and Tom are great for the rings then so should Aikman. Saying anything else is asinine and shows one is biased. Aikman was very accurate and made plays when needed...like Brady)

Brees (guy is really good and seems to be getting better. Nothing more to be said right now)

Mcnabb (yes, Mcnabb. Gets so little credit yet he has the lowest career INT % in nfl history and has been saddled with crap Wrs most of his career. Has accuracy issues though)

I have not wished injury on athletes but I honestly hope favre gets injured simply so he'll just freaking retire for good. I don't want him to have a lifelong injury, just one that will prevent him from playing.

The only good thing with him being back is he gets to add to his INT record which magically gets ignored by 95% of the media/fans who spew forth the records he owns.

Oh and it'll also be funny when the Vikings get screwed over by this chump just like the Jets did and all the people saying the Vikes are serious SB contenders now will flip their opinion.

It must be eating Favre up inside that Aaron Rodgers is tearing it up again so far this season. You know it killed Favre that Rodgers didn't crash and burn last year. And now by all early appearances Rodgers is going to torch Favre again this season.
