That FG on 3rd down was such an amazing play!

Right when they handed it off on that 4th down play, I said, "That was stupid."

        Good win for Baltimore.

          Ray Lewis on that play-

"They stayed true to what they had been doing on film," Lewis said. "Whenever they are in that formation, he goes downhill, and I just shot the gap. I took a risk, and I've told my teammates sometimes you have to take a risk."

Here's the clip of the hit-

Dude had 12 plus tackles, a forced fumble, a pressure on Rivers that turned into a pick and this play. Safe to say he isn't slowing down.

Yeah.... everyone in my section knew what they were gonna do with that stupid formation...

In other news, Vincent Jackson is becoming an elite receiver.

Besides the obvious picks of Lewis and Rivers, the most impressive player there was Cason, the Chargers' 3rd CB. Looked really good.

You mean besides the play he got burned badly for the TD?

Ludicrous. The obvious choice is Sproles... or McGahee... or Vincent Jackson... plenty of choices above a guy who got burned for a TD.

Didn't see the game-listened to the Charger Broadcast on FieldPass. I'm wondering how much of a factor "Sproles instead of LT" was in River's success (obviously adding 81 passing yards on one play)? Bottom line-Rivers, Gates, Sproles, V.Jackson and Chambers are a lot of problems for one defense to contend with.

Really? Wasn't much for the Raiders who didn't give up near the amount of yardage we did. Face it, the CBs we have are going to have to prove themselves. They are not that physical. They have speed, but lack physicality and technique. It's sad. We need 14 year vet Samari Rolle really bad. I cannot fathom both of these two guys against Pitt. One maybe, but both Ward would kill both of these guys physically. Don't know why Ayenbedejo is getting a lot of playing time.

Next week we have the Browns. If we do not sack Quinn a lot then you know something is wrong. The right side of the Browns OL is the weakest link. Also, I think Kruger needs to be activated, because Suggs is still not in game shape. He gets really winded by the 3rd qtr. And I'm not sure what Webb can offer us at CB but I'd like to see.

Finally, a lot of what is going on is confusion and lack of communication. Prime Time nailed it. On the Sproles play, Ray was in man coverage, but VJ came in to pick him, when that happens the Safety has to take Sproles and Lewis will take Jackson on the crossing route. Reed fudged up on that it looks like.

You can't really compare in division match ups though, they are a different breed of football, teams just know each other to well.

Yeah Foxworth got man mangled by VJ on a couple running plays. It was actually comical to see.

Did you notice how Ed Reed was chasing Sproles down the sideline on that angle? There was a good stretch where Ed wasn't even looking where he was going anymore. He was just trying to pump his legs as fast as he could with his chin in his chest. lol

Right now there are a lot of communication issues. I'm looking at Gooden and he just throws his hands up in the air because he doesn't know who he's covering. Landry got confused at times. Washington and Foxworth, confused and outmatched. Suggs looked tired in the 3rd. Reed looked confused at times as well. Not sure what Mattison is running that make people confused. The only few guys that never looked confused yesterday were Lewis, Ngata, Gregg, Pryce, Barnes and Suggs. They gotta get this stuff cleaned up quickly.
