Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
Don't go throwing ridiculous expectations on him. He has the potential to be a very good WR in the NFL but he has things he needs to work on, his route running isn't the greatest and his hands are suspect at times.
Could he be a great WR, sure but he has work to do, that said getting him in the 6th round was a steal, had he returned to school for his senior year I think he would've gone much higher next year but for all the potential he has he still is a bit raw and has plenty of work to do.Favorite Teams:
NCAA- University of Illinois Fighting Illini
NFL- Cleveland Browns
MLB- St. Louis Cardinals
NBA- Boston Celtics
NHL- Chicago Blackhawks

Also, I LOVE the speed I have seen in his highlight videos. He ran a 4.42 at the combine but his field speed is something I don't think the Browns have had in a long time.
Also, while he did run quite a few vertical routes, I saw numerous occasions where he would pop out into the flats, secure the ball and turn it up field for 10-15 yards.
I truly believe he will compete with Robiskie for the #3 WR spot this season and maybe overtake Robiskie and Cribbs. (I forget is Stuckey is still on the team, but I didn't think he was).
Mitchell will turn into a GREAT WR if he puts in the work.Comment

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
I agree with everything you just said, I disagree with your initial comment, way too early to annoint him our "franchise WR".
If he puts in the work he absolutely could be, but at this point in time he isn't there yet.
*edit - Stuckey is still on the rosterFavorite Teams:

Re: 2010 NFL Draft Thread
The end of the 7th round is always the most hilarious time during the draft.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment
