I've always thought there had to be a wild string of stories from him in Green Bay all those years, which never made the press since he was their icon. Especially Favre, since he's such an outgoing guy and everything. I don't really look down on them for doing this, they have tons of money, they're young, they want to have fun. Just funny because it's coming out about Favre, whom the media will never badmouth, for whatever reason.
This guy is destroying his own legacy. He should have just retired at the end of his run in Green Bay. He's alienated two locker rooms since, cost two different franchises their seasons, came across as nothing more than a selfish douche this whole time, and now here comes the cherry on top with this whole story. I don't feel bad for Favre at all in this situation. He was dumb enough to get himself into this, so it's his mess to clean up.
However I feel terrible about what this is probably going to do to his wife & family. Just look at what happened with Tiger. That was a lot worse than this -- or at least as far as we know -- but it's still pretty damn bad.Originally posted by bradtxmale

That totally sounds like Favre. Dude should have just retired the first time, and he would be revered. Now, if this is true his legacy is going to take another major hit. If Brett's wife files for divorce then we know for sure that it was him.
Now Deadspin is saying that there are two more women coming out of the woodwork. Maybe this is the real reason Brett wanted to come out of retirement.
I wonder what Roger Goodell is thinking right now. Oh the irony.
