This is also bigger than something under police investigation in some ways, because it involves employees which means law suites... those are even bigger than the hit from not handling public perception.

Deanna Favre hits the talk show circuit tomorrow.
She visits Good Morning America and *resists all urge to say something political* Fox and Friends on Fox News Channel.Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

This is going to be a season long issue here, I can see that already.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Brett Favre in trouble with the ladies
I agree. Favre's an icon for the league and he has a consecutive games streak at stake. The NFL is going to drag this out to buy a little time, then Favre will appeal any suspension he recieves to extend it longer. The only way I see this getting resolved soon is if Favre misses a start on his own. No way the NFL wants that streak ended by sexting photos.Comment

Re: Brett Favre in trouble with the ladies
I don't think any of us are surprised by this:
Former Jets sideline reporter Jenn Sterger is currently debating whether to speak with the NFL about Vikings quarterback Brett Favre's alleged harassment, or lack thereof, of Sterger during Favre's 2008 season in New York.
According to the St. Paul Pioneer Press, her decision will be based strictly on money.
Jeremy Fowler of the Pioneer Press reports that Sterger would decline the league's interview request if Favre agrees to a financial settlement.
If the NFL is to discipline Favre for sending inappropriate text messages and voicemails to Sterger two years ago, it almost certainly needs Sterger to go on the record.
According to Fowler, the agreement would also include a confidentiality agreement. Sterger's specific price is unknown, but we're guessing Favre wouldn't struggle to satisfy it.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Brett Favre in trouble with the ladies
So you mean to tell me this is from 2008? I'm guessing some skank friend of hers planted ideas in her head about using these photos to black mail Brett for some dough.Comment

Re: Brett Favre in trouble with the ladies
This latest development screws Brett in the court of public opinion.
He pays Sterger off, he's clearly guilty. He doesn't and he could end up suspended.
It's a no win for him.
I guess in the end the answer is don't send pictures of the lil' Gunslinger to random women (Or men, for that matter.).Member: OS Uni Snob Association | Twitter: @MyNameIsJesseG | #WT4M | #WatchTheWorldBurn

Re: Brett Favre in trouble with the ladies
Apparently Favre acknowledged that he left voicemails, but is saying the pics aren't his.
