Ben is accused of being a rapist because, if I recall correctly, there was no doubt that there was sexual contact in that bathroom as there was Big Ben's DNA found. The question became, was it consensual?

Then you also had the peculiar parts of the story such as Ben's security guards possibly blocking off the area, and the extremely poor handling of the police who took her story as they immediately thought she was lying (I doubt a police officer should immediately be like "yeah yeah yeah sure you were" with cases as delicate as sex crimes .

Brett, if the allegations are true, is a creep but still not a rapist. I kind of wish rapists would just send messages asking for three ways or masturbation movies than committing rape.

Just some things before this spirals out of control like all of these things do:

1. Jen Sterger had a name long before the Jets and Brett Favre. There's really no reason she'd be going after him for a buck. If anything, it'd be to keep her image clean.

2. Jen Sterger didn't bring this up "years later". The story got to Deadspin and Deadspin got it out to the world. Only then, she reluctantly went through the steps. The reason she didn't want to initially? Maybe bc she didn't feel her career path was worth putting up against a $50,000 slap on the wrist. Seems she was right.

3. The other two women came out RIGHT after the Deadspin story. Everybody was waiting to see what the NFL was going to do. Now that they see the NFL isn't going to do jack, the two women that don't have much of a future are taking Favre, the Jets and the NFL to task for that BS.

Personally I'm surprised anyone would think these women shouldn't be trying to get more after that crap NFL ruling, and even more surprised that some guys are still shortsighted enough to err on the side of calling women gold diggers when they report sexual harrassment and we don't know all the facts. May want to think a little deeper before making judgements.

The NFL's ruling and investigation into Favre actually would be a great reason these suits finally were pushed through. Seeing Brett skate could open some old wounds

As I said. Favre basically has nothing to do with the new lawsuit other than sending a couple rude texts. The issue is going to be in the way that the girls' supervisors and the organization handled their complaints.

Comparing Favre sending suggestive texts to anything Ben did is ridiculous and is comparing apples to oranges.

Also true. If he was still a Jet then maybe he'd be closer to the bulls eye but this will fall on the Jets and the NFL. And I've got a feeling they will be paying.

You really should stop with that. I'm sure no women involved in any of these cases will ever visit here but I don't think you realize how disrespectful it is to jump to that conclusion without a FIRM backing for the thought.

Besides, if you cost me my job or future work just bc I won't kiss your *** (which is A LOT less offensive than sexual advances) then you better believe I'm going to be looking to make a buck or some other way of making you pay.
