They just beat the defending Champions. Don't sell them short.

(B)espn continued to call us disrespectful names(seahacks,sea-chickens) and today's announcers kept mentioning 7-9 stating the obvious, but no one mentioned that we did have a winning home record coming in to today(5-3) this season. Does that not count for anything?

Yeah, they are weak minded at ESPN. If it isn't a marquis city the team is automatically jettisoned into the irrelevant zone. I will be rooting for Seattle the rest of the playoffs. (Plus I used to live in Bellingham for about three years.)

Awesome win for the Seahawks - I'm really happy to see Marshawn out there doing Beast Mode. Also happy to see all the bad fans saying you shouldn't make the playoffs even if you win your division are shown to be wrong. NFL Playoffs.. definitely the best around.

                    With all due respect...bull.

In a sport where your entire season comes down to a single game, it remains an utter travesty that Seattle got to play this game at home.

There's not much to elaborate on. I've been saying the same thing all year in that if you win your division, you should get a home game. Teams that have an issue with that should just take care of the things they can control.

In other words, if the Saints would've won their division, they wouldn't be where they are right now, which is on the plane back to New Orleans for who knows how long depending on how soon they get a new CBA done.

                              Why? They won their division.

I've been a supporter of seeding being based on records, but it doesn't matter for this. The Saints were the better team and should have won anywhere against Seattle, but failed miserably against a team that actually came to play.
