And you could easily argue that Brady and Manning STILL played better than Big Ben against the Jets. Big Ben definitely made plays when he needed to, and he moved the chains with his legs, but he still made some terrible throws which didn't come back to bite him.Twitter: @Palo50

Their rushing game is a myth, ask any Steeler fan that sits and actually watches every game. They haven't had a decent run game or Oline to support Ben in years. Don't know where you get that info or impression.Comment

He had 2 INT's and the first one wasn't his fault. There were countless times that he moved the chain just on his athletic ability alone. The 1st conversion at the end of the game is a perfect example.NFL: Pittsburgh Steelers

I've never really liked the sport of baseball. It probably has something to do with the Pirates being so terrible while I was growing up. I'm 25, 18 of those years the Pirates have had a losing season. I still go to a game or two a year, but I just don't follow the sport.
I love people who think if you but Brady or Manning behind the Steelers O-line that they would be just as good or better LOL. Both would get sacked 5-10 times a game."You probably heard we ain't in the prisoner-takin' business; we in the killin' Nazi business. And cousin, business is a-boomin'." - Lt. Aldo Raine-Comment

Ben every time. He comes up big when the Steelers need him too an his ability to escape the rush for a big play is a nice bonus.Comment

If 100 yards=run support, then Ben's had that 2 times in 14 starts this season.
It's a myth, and for those who still live in the past, but what do i know. I only watch all their games. They found some magic in the Jet game, and hopefully it can continue.Last edited by tripwire; 02-02-2011, 03:37 PM.Comment

Calling it a myth is silly. The Steelers have never put up huge rushing numbers, but when they need the tough yards they have always been able to get it
That's the difference and I'm not gonna go digging for examples of huge games by Steelers RBs just to say the obvious. Nothing has changed in Pittsburgh, they still win with running the football tough and great defense. The one year that Ben threw for 4000 yards and the passing game was the main focus(09) they missed the playoffsLast edited by TexasBorn1; 02-02-2011, 03:47 PM.Comment
