Two questions, first, is he any good? Second, the Bills have Fitzmagic, why draft a QB?

I know you were joking, but Buffalo GM just said he wants to get a 'good young QB' and a 'franchise QB' for the organization, obviously implying that Fitz isn't.

When the Bills signed Ryan Fitzpatrick to a seven-year, $62.195 million contract right around this time last year, it seemed that they were making a commitment to Fitzpatrick as their franchise quarterback.

Well at least he's being honest about his mistake.

Knowing that Arky is in the SEC he's probably high on the Bills draft board.

Heath Evans' take on the whole Bama vs any NFL Team story:

“I mean, honestly with a 24 point spread, it would be hard to bet against Nick [Saban],” Evans told ESPN 760 in West Palm Beach, Florida. “It really would. I could say that it’d be hard to bet against Oregon too. With Oregon’s offense, if you had a week to game plan for it, guys aren’t in good enough shape to play that offense. Defensively speaking, from an NFL team playing Oregon’s offense, I’d take Oregon at that as well as I’d take Alabama.”

I'd like what Heath Evans is smoking.

I guess he forgot how "great" the genius Saban was in Miami.

As for Oregon, they might surprise a top level NFL team in the 1st half but they'd adjust.

Yeah, college teams may make a few plays running drills against NFL level talent, but lining up an NFL caliber OL/DL against a line of college kids would be a massacre.

They'd get blown out still, teams like Bama, FSU, LSU have good depth on the Lines but not compare to NFL depth

Maybe deserves its own thread, but Sean Payton's deal w/ NO has been voided and he'll be a 'free agent' this offseason.

Within the past year, the multiyear extension the Saints announced for Sean Payton in September 2011 was voided by the NFL, making the suspended head coach a free agent after this season, sources say.

Already rumors of him going to Dallas.

They can have all the depth in the world and it still wouldn't matter.

As long as Brees is in NO I don't see him leaving.

I think there is still a chance his contract will toll over giving him another year, the NFL says they have made no decision on this matter so idk
