Has anyone won an Adderall appeal yet? And this Adderall thing is happening way too much. Whats the deal here?

A lot of these guys probably got away with using it in college and for some reason are just using it now still I guess

The league doesn't comment on the results of the tests, so it's something the players can blame that people accept and players can get away with even if it's a lie.

Many athletic organizations have restricted the usage of Adderall by athletes. The NCAA has banned the use of Adderall for its collegiate athletes without a prescription and adequate records of evaluation and diagnosis of ADHD. Nevada State Athletic Commission has also banned athletes in the state from using Adderall. I just forgot to fill out some paperwork and that was it.” Brown eventually won an appeal, and had his suspension lifted. Another Giants player, Tyler Sash, was suspended for four games by the NFL in July 2012 after testing positive for Adderall four months earlier. The safety said in a statement that he took the drug legally and "under a doctor's care for an anxiety condition" to help him with public speaking. The New York Giants safety Will Hill was charged a four-game suspension for violating NFL's performance-enhancing substance ban. Hill said: “"I received a doctor's prescription for Adderall prior to signing with the Giants” Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Aqib Talib has been suspended four games by the NFL for violating the league's policy on performance enhancing substances. Talib released a statement saying his suspension was a result of testing positive for Adderall: "Around the beginning of training camp, I made a mistake by taking an Adderall pill without a prescription,".

Defenders go hard for every QB but say if they land a hit on Peyton Manning, Aaron Rodgers, or Drew Brees I've seen them actually help them back up, and pat them on the helmet. Like a sign of mutual respect. If that's Peyton Manning on Thanksgiving I doubt Suh tries that flailing foot maneuver, for the outrage it would cause.

This general point is true, but I don't think Suh has that kind of respect for anyone.

I remember reading on ProFootballTalk that one player(can't remember the name)won his appeal during the offseason. But other than that, he's the been the only one AFAIK.

Dolphins safety Jonathon Amaya was arrested for chocking a taxi driver earlier this morning.

He was busted a month ago, must have just been going through the appeals process since. Too bad he didnt start it last week, since he missed Sunday. He'll be eligible to return week 17.

Andrew Brandt points out on Twitter this 4 game suspension will cost Wright $1.7m. Oof.

So in addition to losing $1.7m of salary this year, it voids the guarantee of his base salary ($7.75m) next year. So if they decide to cut him, he could end up losing $9.45m because of this 4 game suspension.
