Meh. I like being able to watch every team on Thursday instead of the same teams over and over again on Sunday.

And a game could come down to the final play and still be God awful otherwise. A close finish is not always indicative of a good game.
Well I actually watched it and thought it was a good game even with a close finish.

Not sure you are in a position to say whether or not the game was good since you didn't watch it.

He's not talking about just last night's game though. Not like he's wrong though regarding the "close finishes = good game".

But don't you have options on Sunday too?

          I'm a bit confused here.

I don't have Sunday Ticket so I get whatever is on TV and I don't really like the Texans so my choices are limited.

              Cam dance = don't care

Cam was a guy I didn't like coming out of Auburn and it was mainly due to his father's role in Cam's "recruitment". Now I think he's a legit MVP candidate and has made leaps and bounds to improve his game. He's done everything he's supposed to do. If he wants to "dab", go for it.

And we're going to steal it.

                      Run it into the ground.

And then put it on sweaters for old ladies to wear ironically.

Read the Peter King article about preparation for a game. Teams usually give players Monday off to rest and recover from the auto accidents that are Sunday's game. Teams have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday to prepare and practice for Sunday. Travel on Saturday.

TNF games basically take that and shrink it to nothing. Road teams travel on Wednesday meaning they get one or two days of practice. I watched this game because of the young QBs but it was nothing to write home about.

You may want to consider NFL Game Pass. You can watch every game in full, 30 minutes condensed or coaches film after the game has been played.

I was interested in the Jags-Titans due to the QBs, as well as a few of the other young offensive players on both teams, but the first half was just bad football, and the second half was minimally better.

It's already been said, but that's the problem with TNF; you've got underprepared, worn out teams out there, and it results in a poor product on the field.

It is what it is at this point, and I'm complicit in this mess because I watch, but I don't think it's a particularly good thing.

Regarding TNF games, I think the idea in itself isn't too bad but the matchups for the most part are pretty blah. I didn't watch last night's game though I did watch the pregame to see how the unis looked. The level of play on the Thursday games are below par IMO compared to Sunday/Monday and that's pretty damning when in reality the level of play (not the actual skill) has declined over the last few years.
