The Caps are really out of place in that list. Postseason blue balls forever.

Maybe Detroit. Montreal based on all of history.

Cro sucked too. They faced the 2nd string O + Hopkins and looked like fools. I didn't see any fire from the Jets D. It was disappointing from a unit you think would have some pride.

I thought Cro was supposed to be considered a top 10 corner?

Anyway, I guess the Jets were super unhappy with the d's performance that they had to go and cut Quinton Coples. Lol I don't see how you can be a 6-6 290 pound linebacker and be that horrible. Not too many backers have that size.

I haven't been in the game thread so I'm not sure how the conversation has been but I thought it made sense to run the clock out on the final play when the receiver rolled backward out of bounds

edit: now that I've read the game thread I'm confused because I always thought if a player voluntarily went backwards out of bounds they kept running the clock but apparently that's not the case so I have no clue anymore. I feel like I've seen receivers come back for the ball and their momentum carries them out and the clock still runs (whether they were touched or not) so... idunno man, everything is up in the air nowadays

There's a reason not many backers have that size. I bet he could barely move out there being that big.

The rules when it comes to the clock and running out of bounds are different at different parts of a game. What you describe is correct for most of a game, but late in each half the clock stops anytime someone runs out of bounds. I think it is within the last 4 minutes of the half?

I'm still waiting for an explanation from a credible source regarding the end of the game (not that one more play would have changed anything)

Johnny Football's national showcase on Monday Night Football may not happen because of a video showing him enjoying the nightlife again.

Cleveland Browns coach Mike Pettine said Tuesday that he's considering benching Manziel for the game against the Baltimore Ravens. This comes exactly a week after Pettine said that Manziel would be the starter for the rest of the season.

Pettine seems hellbent on teaching Manziel a lesson. Even if it's to the long term detriment of the franchise.

Ridiculous. Manziel is a fool for getting in front of a camera, but you can't party on a bye week, though?

And don't give me that fake *** rehab stint from earlier this year.

If the agreement with the team is that he wouldn't, then no he can't. Now whether you think those restrictions should have been there is another story.

Of course, I fully expect him to still play and further undermine the authority of the coaching staff and FO, but that's nothing new in terribly run organizations like the Browns.
