    Colts/Pacers was really cool.

The Carolina/Charlotte one took a second to really appreciate.

Vegas odds have Stafford trailing only Brees, Manning, Rodgers, Brady and Luck to win MVP this year. Vegas is weird.

Damn I guess they're really banking on that Lombardi/Saints offense in Detroit. Unless it's tons of receiving production from the backs, I'd say Calvin has better odds than Staff

I'm curious how that's going to work in Detroit obviously the Saints had a lot of quick timing throws and usually had good pass protection.

You watch him more but I get the feeling Stafford doesn't have the greatest accuracy in the world. It WILL be interesting to see how that Saints offensive style will fit in Motown.

I must've forgotten to add "except for Ben".

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Yeah he doesn't have the greatest accuracy, especially on deep balls, but I was reading a PFF article about him the other day and he graded surprisingly well on short throws and slants. He overloads the gun just about every time he throws deep though, it's infuriating.

Frank Wycheck says that concussions stemming from an 11-year NFL career have left him with serious symptoms, and he'll get nothing from the settlement to the concussion lawsuit.

It strikes me as a bit of a problem that the NFL's concussion settlement doesn't do much if anything to help living retired players with mental health problems which are less than extreme (ex. ALS, Alzheimer's, dementia, Parkinson's). Based on the example of Frank Wycheck, that's exactly what's happening.

The settlement is what it is, though.

So a Titan comes up half a yard short again?

Yeah, I'd have expected Wycheck's use case to be covered under the settlement. Maybe it is and it's a matter of getting a proper diagnosis or something. Him dying and having his brain looked at resulting in a payday for his family rather than helping him now doesn't really seem to be the point of the litigation or settlement.

Richard Sherman wants to choke out Michael Crabtree:

Richard Sherman appears on tonight’s debut episode of <em>American Muscle on the Discovery Channel (9 p.m. ET) and he takes us right back to that tiff with Michael Crabtree near the end of the NFC title game.

“It’s much more of just I don’t like the dude,” Sherman says in the episode, which For The Win was viewed early by For The Win. “You know what I’m saying. And I think he’s sorry. So it’s really what it comes down to.”

Sherman, the Seattle Seahawks cornerback, tipped a pass intended for Crabtree, the San Francisco 49ers receiver, and the pass was intercepted, sealing the Seahawks’ trip to the Super Bowl. Sherman famously ranted to Erin Andrews about Crabtree moments later.

“It’s just about him, it’s just about Crabtree,” Sherman says on tonight’s show.

“It’s not going to be something that goes away. I hope to play him every year for the rest of my career and choke him out. There’s not much else I can say about the subject. Nobody will understand it but him and me. That’s all that needs to understand.”
