Playoffs are a funny thing. I wouldn't call anybody a pushover at that point.

If Washington gets in I'll call them a pushover. Their defense is physical but their offense at times is laughable in how they execute.

They wouldn't be the first in NFL Playoff History to come into the playoffs playing like that and still somehow pull out a W.

What kind of anchors are they putting in your shoulder, ND?

Some kind of metal rod?

They put ancho sutures...not sure if 3mm or 5mm. I'm guessing 3mm as it was 2014 when the surgery happened. I'm 1.5 years post surgery...my shoulder sucks.

As a person who didn't like Cam when he came into the league...

He's won me over. Dude is a stud and has all the tools and keeps getting better. Defense let him down and he still responded. I don't get the criticism for low completion %. He makes huge plays when they need them...plus his WR core is less than stellar to put it nicely.

I did a complete 180 on both Cam and RGIII.

I generally agree, and if one of these teams gets hot to pull away from the division I could see them posing a real threat to whoever comes in to their house. But as they're playing now? No way. This ain't a Saints going outdoors to play a bruising run-based Seattle team a couple years ago. That game did not shock me. This would be probably be Seattle, who seems to have gotten their act together, going in somewhere. Tough task as it is drawing SEA, but compound it by being a very mediocre/bad team and I think it will very much be a lock.

I think it would take a anomaly game like the NE/PHI game with all the special teams/defensive scores for an East team to pull off an upset like that.

I agree completely with you though I always knew RGIII would fall flat on his face. I thought Cam was a guy who just liked the adulation and didn't want to work too hard but he's smoothed out the rough edges in his game and persona to the point that he's one of the more well rounded guys out there. Sure, his completion % could be better but he makes up for it with big plays and rallying the guys behind him. The Panthers really did an awesome job of letting him mature and becoming the QB and more importantly, the man he is today.

I can see the beginnings of that kind of thing in Tampa Bay as well with Jameis Winston.

Jamies looks ok. They just pound the rock in TB so haven't seen him shoulder the load yet. Mariota looks legit in Tennessee.

No, I just knew it was a recipe for disaster just the way he was courting the media and then the whole deal with him being way too close to Daniel Snyder. Eventually when there's adversity things would go downhill. I didn't foresee quite the disastrous (seemingly) end for him in DC though.

It was multiple burns. He won a title with the old Cleveland Browns and he won a super bowl as a coach, so questioning his coaching ability is moot.

Yes, I understood the overarching point. The physical construction of his tweet was horrendous at best.

And ooooh cool guy, you won a Super Bowl fifteen years ago and you haven't coached in like ten. Sick burn guy. It's basically the equivalent of sports fans who throw out the "how many rings you got bro?" nonsense.

I'm not surprised, however, that this type of basic reply is receiving such adulation nowadays as if it's some clever, amazing retort. Standards have definitely fallen.
