If it's tied after a 10-minute OT, Goodell should have the game replayed in Tokyo on Tuesday. Why hasn't he thought of this???

If neither team is good enough to win and it ends in a tie both teams forfeit making the playoffs that season. Heh.

They're worried about teams playing Thursday night having a 15-minute OT the previous Sunday.

There's a simpler, better solution to that than reducing OT, but they won't consider it.

I can see where this is going...before you know it they'll eliminate OT all together and it will be a FG kicking contest to determine the winner, a la the NHL shootout.

I personally think the coaches should be subjected to an American Gladiator obstacle course.

Does anyone know what the heck is going on with Mike Zimmer? The way medical science is today you'd think he wouldn't need EIGHT procedures on his one eye. I wonder if there's a definite chance that he'll lose sight in that eye sooner than later.

Anyways, he's taking some time off after this latest procedure this weekend.

Lol. Shootouts are such horrible way to lose a game. But I don't get sports leagues trying to change ot. Mlb wants guys on 2nd, NFL shortening ot length?

It's free game fans get to watch. Let them watch it!

Though I doubt NFL would ever do something as drastic as eliminate ot completely and game just ends in tie after regulation.

Hmm, owners going to vote on whether or not to eliminate the 75 day cutdown, so teams would have 90 man rosters going into the final preseason game. I kind of liked the multiple cutdowns, and would think that it gives some players more of a chance to make another team if there wasn't just one massive cut week 1.
