NFL Off Topic
So the team quit on the coach this year, and now they want a coach who quits on his team.
Won't have to worry about Miami being a serious contender if they decide to go that route. Marrone should never get another HC gig again. But this is the same league that employs Mike Mularkey regularly so I guess just let him be someone else's problem.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Re: NFL Off Topic
I'd guess San Diego and Oakland are most likely to end up there with that Disney CEO heading the charge to get them there.
Chargers have nothing in their way now with San Diego not being able to meet the deadline to make a suitable proposal to keep them. At least according to what I've read.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
I shouldn't say the Chargers have nothing in their way either, since the vote still needs to happen. But the whole Chargers-Rams potential alliance that would bring the rain of a thousand Davis lawsuits upon them seems more like a last-ditch effort by Kroenke to keep the Rams in the running.Comment

Going for a 2-for-1 on unpopular opinions...
I like Coldplay. Probably won't be as good as the Bruno Mars halftime show from a couple years ago, but they could do a lot worse.NFL: Bills

Re: NFL Off Topic
I'm sort of a Bills fan too lol. Bucs fan first, but my family is all Bills fans and I go to 2 or 3 Bills games every year/watch them every week. It's kinda funny because Syracuse and Buffalo fans both hate him now, and I'm a fan of both of those teams yet I still like him. He did a great job at Syracuse and he did a relatively good job with Buffalo.NFL: Bills

Re: NFL Off Topic
He's a traitor who needs to walk the plank.
Completely rational.
On the real, he's an okay coach. I wouldn't be chomping at the bit to have my team go hire him but he did improve the Bills in his two short years here, so take from that what you will. Decent fallback option if some of these hotshot coordinators don't snatch up all the openings this year.
But you can't just ignore him bouncing out from Buffalo after a 9-7 year. I get that there was new ownership, but they're in the business of winning too. The stakes would be higher this year after going above .500 so maybe he thought he maxed out the roster's potential or something? It's weird that he left in the middle of building something. He would be absolutely revered if he had stuck around and coached us to the playoffs this season.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
