Ratings will be ridiculous either way, but a SB rematch for week 1 would be insane. I can't see them passing on that.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Isn't it usually the championship game rematch?
Either way, you can't go wrong with the Pats or Panthers to start the year off with.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

Re: NFL Off Topic
I think the Raiders being their opponent is a dark horse and would be a good pick still. Considering how Khalil Mack ate their line last time they played, I don't think it would be a bad game. I'd rather see them than the Pats personally. Save that for late in the season. Super Bowl rematch has to be the leader.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
It'll probably be the Texans, Colts or Falcons. No way the NFL wastes a primetime matchup of Patriots or Panthers when they will already pull a huge number being the only game on Thursday.Moderator

Re: NFL Off Topic
I'd go Chiefs or Raiders to open it out.
Ratings shouldn't mean much because they're going to draw numbers regardless. NBC will make sure to lock up that Pats-Broncos Matchup first and then will try to get the Panthers-Broncos as well. Can't see either of those games NOT being SNF or MNF.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
He isn't HOF worthy. If the argument is that he should be in because his numbers are similar to Campbell's, well since Campbell retired 20 guys have passed him in career rushing yards. At the time of Campbell's retirement his numbers fared much netter.
There are 34 guys with more career yards than Lynch.
His numbers are not that of a HOF RB. Maybe a Hall of Very Good.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
RBs don't matter.
And I don't see how you compare a guy now versus a guy that played over 30 years ago.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Yeah, as a matter of fact, we should put in every qb that threw more TDs than INTs because Bradshaw is in the HOF and he only threw two more touchdowns than his interception total.
That's the logic.NFL- Green Bay Packers
NCAA- Florida State Seminoles
NHL- Carolina HurricanesComment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Teams ran the ball more often back then, but individual rushing stats are not that far off from each other as far as #1 RB go. I haven't checked the numbers, but I believe FBs got more carries in the past.Comment
