    NFL Off Topic

"Fake black guy", eh? Funny but I'll leave that part alone for obvious reasons.

Just as Kobe Bryant's alleged rape, Mike Vick's dogfighting, Ben Roethlisberger's alleged rape, or Ray Lewis's double murder, all of which are infinitely more serious allegations, have faded away as well
I had to laugh a little bit on the inside when I read this.

As for the Manning story, I do not care about a story from 20 years. What is bringing this up now even supposed to do or prove?

In happier NFL topics, apparently Raiders quarterback Derek Carr threw for more passing TDs in the first two seasons of an NFL career (53) than anyone to ever suit up for an NFL game so far not named Marino (68).

This league needs more rising stars at quarterback, hopefully Carr is one of them.

He and Bortles are both legit.

I'm not quite as sold on Bortles yet. He's put up numbers and flashed ability to be The Guy, but I want to see his team win games.

In the reading I've done about him, people describe Bortles as having a nasty penchant for untimely interceptions; someone else who watched more than the zero Jaguars games I did this year can confirm or deny this, lol. Given the Jaguars' 2015 record, my current working assumption is that there's some validity to the idea.

That all football players going into the HOF aren't squeaky clean.

            Exactly, I don't care either.

Yes. Yes it is and that should tell you how bad Clay Travis is.

Yup. We should go back 20 years for all of them and see what we find.

It's funny you say that, because advanced stats actually say that Bortles was slightly more valuable than Carr was last year. Now, they are very close, but it's not fair to praise one of them as anything and not honor the other. I like both guys, but gun to my head, I'm taking BlakeGod.
