Yeah, this just reads like a bitter fan. He was having a debate with someone. Something we all pretty much do on here and probably on a regular daily basis.

Just because he pointed out the obvious doesn't take away from what he accomplished over his career.

But because he officially retired yesterday, he should hold his negative comments for one day? Y'all realize how silly that sounds? Lol

If it's obvious, why does anyone need to say anything?

Why are Tweets turned into headline news?

Why are a player's, coach's comments after a game headline news? It's the same thing just on a different platform.

I think because for many yesterday was about celebrating the career of Peyton Manning.

                    Nah, I get that.

I'm just saying one little non-positive comment should prevent people from doing so. Like Shiz said, it's no different than what we do here.

Man, a number of fans and media members took offense to a reporter asking him about the University of Tennessee incident at yesterday's press conference. Some people are sensitive when it comes to Peyton Manning. It is what is is.

I made a general blanket statement, I am not bothered in the least by his comments.

Sometimes, things are left better unsaid, that's all. And there is also FT's side, why are Twitter comments made into headlines?

Facebook, Amazon and Verizon are bidding for the rights to stream NFL games online.

I would ask what the difference is between a comment said on social media or one to a reporter on record? The two are said with the understanding they could be made public.
