I know someone that knows someone (so grain of salt) that has Vikings season tickets and claims his profits from flipping the Bears and Packers games are enough to just about pay for the entire package.

The 8am Thursday meeting is the financial approval bit. This is where everything will fall apart.

Lol at the "one step away" away headline. More like 1,000 miles over broken glass and fire. I feel like this is his last stand before he throws in the towel and sells the team.

Its like cheating on your wife dude. You can tell her it didn't mean anything, but you still slept around.

And if you sleep with Debra the secretary enough times eventually you will make the mistake of telling her you love her.

Then your wife will find out and take everything in the divorce. You used to take your boat out each weekend but since she took that, you will wind up at a bar picking up prostitutes, and eventually one of them will be an undercover cop. You'll reputation will be destroyed and you will lose your job.

So yeah, don't get Raider season tickets. It will destroy your marriage and you will end up sharing a cell with someone named big mike.

                      What an oddly specific analogy...

Don't know why you would say that.

Coincidentally, I am in the market for a new boat though.

Switching gears I'd like to talk about deflate gate. Not the "scandal" itself, only the idea of the NFL settling with Brady and decreasing the length of the suspension.

Shouldn't that option be off the table at this point? Maybe it is spiteful, but if I was the NFL I would say no chance in hell we compromise or negotiate now.

Can someone tell me why the NFL is so interested in Tony Romo's fantasy football convention? They shut it down last year and apparently they are, according to Romo's camp, "harassing" sponsors of the event to the point where Romo was granted a temporary injunction in Texas court against the NFL regarding the event.

Not even a fantasy football fan, just legitimately curious why this is a thing.
