I don't see nothing changing...it's been same way since even before new browns came back in 99.

This is coming from a life time browns fan...in the end they will be only team not to play in super bowl.
That's the thing, with the complete exodus of talent this off-season, even if you feel the coaching and GM are heading in the right direction, it's gonna be a few years before real progress could come to fruition.

Which is partly why I was so shocked to see some people pick the Browns over the Ravens in that prediction thread. It's not that the Ravens are good, they're not; but the Browns are winless in what has been a VERY down year for the division.

I think the team is heading in the right direction with their decisions at the top of the organization, but it's gonna take patience to get to a point where fans are happy.

Oh, and people can **** on the Browns all they want for trading back and therefore indirectly passing on Wentz, but there ain't a chance in hell he manages half as well as he has in Philly if that was the case.

I was hoping Gregory could get his mental health issues sorted out in time to contribute in 2017. Alas, I don't think he'll even be on the roster next year. A shame, really. At this point I just hope the Cowboys are charitable enough to continue to try to reach out to him to try and get him the help he needs to be successful in any walk of life whatsoever. Mental illness is a cruel mistress.

Man, was I wrong to question Belichick for allowing Revis to go back to the NYJ. Sad to see what that dude has become. Epitome of washed.

The defense is healthy in the back 4. Bradberry has made a huge difference.

But the OL injuries killed the offense in the 2nd half so far

Amazing to see the Chiefs come away with that win after performing so poorly.

Peters gives up so much when tested, but he finds a way to make the big play nearly every game.

They have kinda quietly amassed one of the best records in the league.

They just couldn't get going on offense with 2 backups and 4 guys out of position on the OL. The defense played very well... too many costly turnovers by Cam and company

Maybe the NFL could hold a back sale as Bill Belichick suggested so we can get some sideline and end zone cameras. Saints lose on a returned blocked extra point but it appeared the Broncos player might have stepped out of bounds. Unfortunately all replay angles were total doo doo making it impossible for the refs to overturn.

On top of that I think the whole jumping over the center should be banned.

My only issue is that there doesn't seem to be a realistic way to combat it, at least not that I know of.

I know they suggested that the guards stand up and block up instead of blocking forward but how feasible is that?

Don't get me wrong though, I love the athleticism of it but until I see a way to actually combat it I'm just not a big fan.

I think the way to combat would be not to snap the ball or snap it after the guy running for the jump stops... might get an offsides that way. Not sure that's practical, however...

In other news, if I'm the Browns, I just lose out. Unless San Fran wins another game, then I'd at least win one to avoid 0-16 if I could, but can't give up that #1 overall.
