As for the lawsuits, it is based around the NFL intentionally withholding factual information about concussions.

To high school players, that is all on the coaches. Those are still young men, and in many aspects of life are not considered mature enough for their own decisions. Professional players, 21 and older, are grown men and are solely responsible for their own well being.
Again, we as athletes hid the fact that we had concussions.

A coach can't hold you out if he doesn't know, and that's not his fault that he doesn't know. You don't know that I don't know where I'm at if I pick myself up off the ground and just continue to play.

The NFL may have "withheld" the information, but it's not that hard to pick up a phone and call a doctor and ask what to look out for, and what kind of problems they may cause down the road.

Montreal Alouettes GM Jim Popp is being interviewed by the Panthers for their vacant GM job. I think that'd be a pretty good hire as he's been a fantastic evaluator of talent. There's even a local connection as Popp is from NC.

PFT says he recently gave an interview where he backtracked a bit on his apology, claimed ESPN knew what he was going to day and said he was taken out of context.

About a month too late but it's better than letting him comeback.

Probably the plan all along. Probably just didn't feel like going through terminating a contract that was a month from being up. ESPN has been known to do things like this in the past.

Glad he's gone. And I'm also sick of everybody who says something dumb then saying they were taken out of context. We saw the whole segment. We know what the topic was, what questions were asked, everything he said, and any follow up comments he had in the segment. What other context do we need?

If you say something that comes out wrong, how about saying I misspoke, instead of blaming others for taking it out of context?

That's more of a general pet peeve of mine though. In this case, I think he made it pretty clear how he feels. The fact that he didn't think people would have a problem with that is mind boggling.

The defense of using his words out of context is incorrect. He was not taken out of context. Very often with our media, and on ESPN, things are taken out of context, however this is not one of those cases. His comments have been kept well within their context.

Rob Ryan gets fired and we keep Jason Garrett.. LOL
First its Wade's fault we suck, now its Rob's..

Why not just fire everybody? I don't get it..
I am not a huge fan of Ryan's but I do not think
he is a bad coach.. Garrett is A BAD COACH..

If you are going to Fire Ryan, you have to fire the
                          head guy too..
