      Definitely.

Elsewhere, Trumaine Johnson is playing on a second consecutive year of the franchise tag for the LA Rams. Nobody cares, because he's a Ram... I mean because he's a cornerback.

There was an offensive lineman that did this for a few years, too. Essentially played year to year in the franchise tag so he didn't have to attend training camp until early August. I can't remember who it was, but I think he played for Seattle.

I'm at times amazed how poorly the Redskins can conduct business. It not something I didn't expect because "Kurt" had all the leverage anyways, but to see it play out in stunningly inept fashion always amazes me. Say what you want about them now, but there was a period of time in the late 70s, 80s and early 90s where this was one of the elite franchises in the NFL. I still have a VHS of the Doug Williams superbowl and the '91 team was one of the best teams in NFL history...Pains me to see what they are and are doing these days.

And we've never seen it before because any other team realizes they should've paid their QB by now smh.

I wonder what Doug Williams is thinking now... he's on the staff. It would've been better if he made a statement instead of Allen who clearly doesn't "get it".

Washington will have payed Cousins $43.9M in guaranteed money over 2 years to determine if paying him big money is worth it. Heh.

It's funny because the contract offered was only guaranteed for this season and next. Washington wanted the ability to tear up the deal. Cousins turning it down makes all the sense in the world. Get payed now then get payed by someone else after if Washington is still out here bull****ting.

Not only that, but if you look at the transition tag next year, combined with his franchise tag guaranteed money they were only really offering him $300,000 in new money. If he has a good year and Pryor blows up they are screwed because they can't tag them both.

No. Can't sue for something that the NFLPA agreed to (I mean I guess you can but won't get anywhere doing so).

He's been involved in several lawsuits per google but none against his own players union that I could find.

The NFLPA is a complete joke of a union. I was listening to an interview last week with Andrew Brandt about how players don't get guaranteed contracts but rather some money up front that isn't even completely guaranteed itself. The NFLPA needs a Curt Flood figure who will stand up for their rights but it's never really happened mainly because agents are too scared to help them with that kind of a deal. The closest thing to really challenging the league that's happened was Reggie White but it clearly didn't go far enough. The players were given free agency in exchange for non guaranteed contracts.
