Not entirely true, Kaep has been with Nike for the past 7 years.

Why, because NBA owners are turning tricks on the side, because they’re obviously so hard up for money?

Players should have the majority of control. They do 100% of the work, nobody gives a **** who the owner of the team is.

Keep the owner the same, replace the team. See how many people go compared to keeping the same players and replacing the owner.

Speculation is that it is a new contract for David Johnson. I guess we will see.

Regarding players and owners I think the NFLPA has totally let down its members almost from the very beginning. I feel like players need to have more of a say in what goes on. That being said, I don't want it to be like the NBA as the pendulum has swung too far in the players' side there. Maybe something more akin to the relationship between MLB and its players is what's needed.

I think you have the MLB and the NBA unions mixed up. Exactly what is too far on the players side about the NBA? The NBA should be the envy of all other sports leagues. They have a great relationship with their owners and commissioner who seems to generally get that they are partners in this and not warden and prisoners as the NFL likes to conduct itself. The MLB on the hand has the most powerful players union on the planet.

                    Details on Kaep's deal

                    Details on Kaepernick and #Nike:

                    - It’s wide endorsement. He’s going to have his own branded line. Shoes, shirts, jerseys, etc. There will be Kaepernick apparel.

                    - Contract is a “star” deal on par with a top end #NFL player. Millions per year. Star deals also include royalties.

It’s amazing that in 2018, this still needs to be said.

That’s actually separate from whatever they are announcing at 2 eastern.

New deal for Johnson is the rumor I saw.

And that seems to not be it either now that I looked again.

Fitz retiring would be about the only major announcement I could see from the Cardinals. That would be a shock now that we're through preseason.
