Thanks for this one as well. Didn't know about the forfeit rules = no pay. Now I see why they would never do that. It's not the players fault they got infected or hard contact with someone infected. That would suck. Not only do they get infected. They get no pay check. Yeah that's not good.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Thanks for sharing that.
I would think that these comments are about the rules set up before the season. But if you had what they are called hard contacts (5 minutes or more) with someone who has tested positive. Those quick test don't always prove worthy. Those are the rules. Yeah we could poke holes. But it has shown. You can't clear someone until they pass two 24 hours test or 10-14 days in lock down.
It's tough. You just don't want it to spread. (And like my wife said lol) It's kind of hard to keep position players away from each other.

It mainly hurts the non-star and bottom of the roster players.

Re: NFL Off Topic
The biggest issue is you won't test positive for 4-5 days. By the time you test positive, it's too late to stop the spread. The latest news is you probably don't spread it unless you have symptoms, so that is good but not a 100% guarantee. Then you have stupid people not following the rules and the teams are helpless to stop it.

I came in at the start of the season and said that the players agreed to the terms and were going to have to abide by them. If the Broncos have to play tomorrow without a QB, so be it. It's 2020.
I do however wish the league was more consistent with their decisions on playing or rescheduling games. Seems pretty random right now.Comment

I'm good with all that, no need to explain the rules in that area.

But yeah that's the part I wish was more consistent. We're going to find out tomorrow what they do with the Ravens game for Tuesday. But I feel they will play a game no matter what. There is just too much money on the line. Especially if the state let's them keep playing.
I just don't want to see this in the playoffs. It will be 2021. And I want to see a good product lolHands Down....Man Down - 2k9 memories

Moving to week 18 gives them an opening for other future postponements due to outbreaks as well.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
You want these teams to take it serious. Penalty has to be high. These outbreaks suck! I mean the product looks terrible right now. I'm really waiting to see what they do on Tuesday with the Ravens-Pitt game. I love the week 18 idea.
I just don't want to see the playoffs like this. Missing players and positions players. Sounds like College/High school ball.
Here is the video of why they got fined

Re: NFL Off Topic
With the announcement today that Pittsburgh Steelers’ star running back James Conner has tested positive for COVID-19, fans immediately expressed concern due to his “pre-existing condition”. As most NFL fans know, Conner has an inspirational story due to his diagnosis of Hodgkin’s Lymphoma while he played at University of Pittsburgh. Conner returned to the starting […]
No new positives out of Pittsburgh today and apparently the Ravens are planning to get together today for a workout and tomorrow for a walk-through.
With there now being right at around 30 minutes until the Sunday Week 12 games get underway, the Pittsburgh Steelers Tuesday night game against the Baltimore Ravens is still scheduled to be played. FOX NFL insider Jay Glazer gave a report on the status of that Tuesday night game during a brief pregame show appearance […]
I really hope this game gets played on Tuesday.Comment
