Originally when Stafford went out midseason last year, I was one of the people saying that Patricia deserved another season because some of the circumstances weren't his own fault. Then the Lions lost their last 8 games and I changed my mind because the culprit of the 8 game losing streak wasn't bad QB play, it was the defense. Obviously Stafford going out clearly hurt the team, but Driskel / David Blough played more than well enough for Detroit to win the games over DAL / WAS / CHI (2nd matchup) / GB and their defense blew it in ALL of those games. Isn't defense supposed to be what Patricia is good at?

Fast forward 12 months and almost nothing has changed. The Lions routinely jump out to early leads and give them up within a couple of quarters. This year has been the same song and dance, and it would look even worse if not for the Falcons choking away a game to them

I have to say. My wife has been calling it for weeks now. She called that it would spread between a position group.

Again, I'm not saying shut it down. But the playoffs can't be like this.

Driskel tested positive Thursday and was removed. No positives since.

League has ruled out the other QB's due to contact tracing and them not taking proper precautions while being around Driskel.

Wouldn't matter if they signed Kap he wouldn't be eligible to play tomorrow as he has to pass protocol to join the team.

With Broncos QBs ruled out, sportsbook @CircaSports has re-opened the Saints as 13.5-point favorites. New Orleans was -6 prior to Denver QB news.

The NFL is serious about this? Lock/Rypien/Bortles all had Rapid POC testing in recent days and all came back negative. Jeff Driskel tested positive w/no symptoms.
Understand importance of distancing/masks, but seems like mockery of competition. Borders on punitive. #9sports

Thursday, Drew Lock and the rest of the Broncos were not considered to be close contacts and were told they could continue to practice.

Today they’ve all been ruled out for Sunday.

I would think that these comments are about the rules set up before the season. But if you had what they are called hard contacts (5 minutes or more) with someone who has tested positive. Those quick test don't always prove worthy. Those are the rules. Yeah we could poke holes. But it has shown. You can't clear someone until they pass two 24 hours test or 10-14 days in lock down.

It's tough. You just don't want it to spread. (And like my wife said lol) It's kind of hard to keep position players away from each other.

Games should be forfeited, but per CBA a forfeit means no pay for the players. All games will be played unless the players agree to lose 1 week of pay.

This is going to be hard to finish the season.
