Andy Daulton. Seriously? I'm so sick of being a fan of this **** show year in and year out. But don't worry, by week 8 of the season we will just do a 36 year tribute for Da Bears for the feels and reminisce.

I swear, it gets harder and harder. Every. Year.

I’m not even mad about Dalton, it’s the fact that they let the guy that chose Glennon, Trubisky, and Foles choose another QB.

Another accuser has been added to the Watson lawsuit.

This could get messy and last longer than I initially thought. The original statement from the lawyer made me think this was bogus, but with the second accuser and the details behind that changes my opinion somewhat.
Now the lawyer is claiming there are six accusers/cases, and we've only seen the first two.

Bears offered 3 first rounders, a third, and 2 starters allegedly, for Wilson.

If true, that’s about as much as they could do. Sucks to end up with such an non-exciting option with Dalton (& Foles?), but I don’t know how much else they could do. Wilson is great, but no first round picks for 3-4 years... that’s just too much these days.

I'm not as much blaming them on not getting Wilson because that's a strong offer. But why Dalton? I mean, my god, i'd rather just have kept Trubisky. The coaching staff and front office need to go. They are the biggest problem. At least then i could endure more Trubisky if he gets a different look that doesn't try to make it too complicated.

By Dalton? My god. What, was Jeff George not available?

I understand your frustration but at the same time, you say you'd prefer to keep Trubisky but you and I both know had they just kept Trubisky you'd be up in arms about them "not doing anything."

Good, established quarterbacks are hard to acquire via trade or free agency. Who else is available for them to sign that would please you? Fitzpatrick? Alex Smith?

Catching up with this Deshaun Watson stuff is crazy!

There are 3 now. This lawyer says there are a total of 6.

Nothing will change until the team is out of the McCaskey family’s hands. Completely inept. The same mistakes over and over and over again.

Agreed, since they'll probably be picking in the top half of the draft those years.

Yeah, this isn't going away. Whatever happened there were some bad decisions made on both sides here and that's going to probably scuttle any trade talks in the short term.

I’d take Trubisky too but he couldn’t have been an option after the disaster of a press conference where everyone blamed everything that went wrong last year on bad QB play. Apparently Nagy didn’t want to coach him either.

I guess it’s time to start counting down the days until Pace trades three first round picks to move up and draft the wrong QB

I'd trade for him. I'm not trying to take away from these women. We talking about football. Trade for him. And then let the court system work it's way out. Sounds crazy that anyone in the street could say I did something without hard proof. And then my trade value goes down. It's been happening to a few players now.

What I really hate about these situation. Is that if the women is lying. It just paints a bad picture for all the women that actually are telling the truth. And we assume the women are lying for money.

I really really hate this situation.

I think of all the players that got dragged through the mud. To find out the case got dropped or nothing came of it.

But that's not also to say we don't have monster among us in the league.

The problem will be that the situation existed at all. Soliciting people to massage him over Instagram will have a paper trail that we'll certainly see in the exhibits in the suits, and that's the problem people are going to have to work through. The decision making behind that, to think that it's a good idea - expecting/pressuring for sex or otherwise, is befuddling.

It then raises the question, what did that level of poor decision making result in that we don't know about, if anything, and then is that creating a risk that until fully understood isn't worth setting a franchise back years if a trade doesn't work out?

Agreed, the situation is awful, the fact that it exists at all is the problem. I'll defer to the legal process for the rest.

But here is one problem I have with the knowledge that's been released. This one happen in December 2020. That was just a few months ago. Why not bring criminal charges on him?

                                He should be in jail
