All of them have filed anonymously, there are no police reports, and while the lawyer said he is cooperating with law enforcement and in contact with them, HPD has said there hasn't been any contact; seems they are as in the dark as we are.

      Its damn odd

Even if it's all false, it couldnt have happened to a better crybaby than Watson. This is karma for when you stomp your foot and demand a trade AFTER signing a massive long term extension fully knowing that the team is a dumpster fire

But holy ****, the thought process of a player breaking his contract when teams do it all the freaking time is MF NUTS. Please don't bring up the CBA the players agreed to either. It can't only go one way.

That means the DA office either doesn't have enough proof to file charges or he/she actually hasn't got **** from them. I'm leaning it's the first one. So again that means someone is lying.

But they have to stay anonymous (aka Jane Does) to protect the women from public ridicule. Because women wouldn't be able to step forward with this kind of stuff. But it sucks. One name gets dragged through the mud while the other gets protected behind it's lawyer in this situation. If this was criminal charges, yes she would have to submit herself to some sort of evidence. Slippery slope both ways.

I want to repeat. Is there a chance Deshaun Watson is a Monster? Hell yes. We all are thinking it. I think of Derrick Rose, Jamie's Winston, Kobe Bryant and many others case. I think all of them settled super quick to move on from the situation. But Deshaun Watson is like **** that (this is how I think we all feel). I'm clearing my name. This is BS.

I think I saw one or 2 of the women wanted $500 dollars. Taylor Swift recent sued someone for 1 dollar to prove a point to a guy who slapped her ***.

              Yeah it's a weird situation.

Oh come on, this has everything to do with leverage. Watson doesn’t have any considering he just used all of it to leverage himself into a massive long term extension where he has 4 years left

How can we take him seriously when trading Hopkins didn’t make him mad enough to demand a trade or prevent him from signing the extension, but not hiring the right black coach did?

They don't have any evidence to file charges.

They don't have a witness or police report, two things that are a must for charges to be filed.

Free Agency is akin to slavery? Wow.

A player being a FREE Agent and having the opportunity to CHOOSE where he works and get the chance to maximize his earning potential is so far from slavery that I'm astonished your brain would even draw that comparison.

A man who signed a $156M contract being compared to a slave is monumentally ignorant. You might as well compare having your Tuesday afternoon kickball game rained out at Summer Camp to being a prisoner at Auschwitz. SMFH.

I understand the point jeebs was trying to make. It’s more of the mentality of teams and fans that the slavery comparison comes from than literal 1:1 slavery comparison.

This is what I've been trying to tell everyone lol. As soon as I saw the comparison to slavery, I knew the argument was completely emotionally based and not factually based

Ok. I still think it's a phenomenally poor equivocation.
