It doesn't matter if anyone thinks something should be, or should have been legal. If your job says you can't do this or that as a stipulation of your employment, don't.

Which I also stated and agree with, and also, separately, commented on how stupid this whole saga/point in history will look (or already looks).

Sorry not sorry I will continue to point out the stupidity of the rule (which the NFL could change on their own)/law regarding cannabis criminalization, and since this is an NFL forum, how it affected people like Gordon and other players.

How is multiple bags of water the equivalent of multiple bags of weed lol? Could have said multiple bags of wine ... oh wait, that's a legal substance that is frowned upon when it comes to the operation of a vehicle.

Could be multiple bags of anything as long as it legal. Whether it is frowned upon is neither here or there.

Not sure what it is, but it takes something to portray Gordon as a victim in this. Whatever that something is you got it.

I literally had to pause and ask myself if this was meant as satire when you said his entrepreneurial spirit should be fostered.

It's easier to say this will all be silly in hindsight if you handwave away the drug trafficking, gang activity, his prior felony(felonies?) and probably a decade and a half of opioid abuse. Especially when the person at the center of it admits to all the different ways he was enabled or took advantage of and largely squandered every un-earned second chance ever given to him by his enablers.

NFL's known to be pretty lax and yet not when it comes to this stuff, seems like if you read between the lines people know how to game it - and then there are players like Josh Gordon.

I hope it all works out, but you have to ignore so much to try and pin it on marijuana. We'll get to the point where it's as recreational as alcohol, but we're not there yet - including in Waco, TX where that incident occurred.

The Bears moved one step closer to leaving historic Soldier Field, announcing Wednesday they signed a $197.2 million purchase and sale agreement with Churchill Downs Inc. for the 326-acre Arlington Park property in suburban Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Kendrick Lamar, Snoop, Mary J Blige, Dr. Dre, and Eminem are doing the Super Bowl halftime show.

If you would have told me in 2005 (year after the Janet SB) that Eminem would be performing at halftime of the SB I would've thought it was satire.

Makes perfect sense considering where the Super Bowl is at this year.

Now if E-40 and Too Short can make an appearance then we’re in business.

Nah, they won’t go THAT far, lol

And now, presented by Toyota, Eminem performing his hit "Bitch I'm Gonna Kill You."

I'm sure it'll be a pretty clean medley of hits from everyone. California Love, etc.

I remember watching something called "Thumbs Up" about Mike Utley after he was paralyzed. I know nobody cares about the Lions (and rightfully so), but I'd love a revamped version of it. I just looked him up and I'm stunned he's only 55, that happened 30 years ago.
