Good for Christian. Get out of the dumpster fire that is Carolina.

Hopefully they can move Shaq Thompson, too, and keep gathering picks.

Most replaceable position in the league by a mile and you giving up multiple picks for one?

Oh ok lemme know how that pans out.

With his injury history, he’ll fit right in.

That’s a big if. Unless he has a Time Machine where he can go back to 2019.

I wanted the Bills to gamble on Christian and try to bring him onto the team, but if the price tag was multiple picks then I'm happy they passed.

The three - headed backfield of Singletary/Moss/Cook is good enough compared to depleting their draft capital for an injury - prone guy (who I still like but not at that price).

Price tag was 2nd, 3rd, 4th round picks this year and a 5th next year. Of course, it’s likely at this point if those were BUF picks that they would be a little later then SF’s. Still, to see the picks traded and not a single first and it hurts a little. These veteran pickups at the trade deadline are becoming all the rage, but I trust in Beane’s decision making.

Great for them if he can stay healthy and team can get healthy. It does feel like an all in move, especially for a RB with durability issues. I'm more into the devaluation of RBs. I rather draft RBs and flip them before they have to get paid just because of drop off after getting lots of tread on the tires. I rather the Eagles let Miles Sanders walk after this year than sign him to an extension.

Yeah that’s the smart move these days. There’s a ton of pretty good RB set to hit FA this off-season. Will be interesting who gets paid and by who.

I agree that they should not pony up for Miles Sanders. He hasn’t shown the consistency, has dealt with injuries, and again, the position just doesn’t demand such a financial commitment. His 5 YPC career average is impressive, but he’s half a yard under that this year with a more healthy season so far so I don’t think that number will stay as high as it is with more games played. Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell aren’t the answer either so I’m sure they’ll be in the market for someone, in FA and/or draft.

Wonder if they give Trey Sermon some looks as the season gets later and the Eagles potentially able to have a playoff spot wrapped up.

Even when it comes to this good upcoming RB FA class, I do agree with #NeverPayForRBs. Heck, I don't want to draft a RB in the first 2 rounds. Just knowing the position, they aren't going to want to take a paycut in Free Agency and they're going to want to start. Plus how often do these RB or WR free agent deals really work out. I rather draft a RB in 3rd-5th round with less mileage on a rookie deal than pay a FA RB $4-8M and hope for at least one good year.

Eagles O-line should be intact for the next couple years. So I rather trust in them to allow a rookie to produce over committing to Sanders. I doubt they'll dress Sermon until an injury pops up. But, I do think a physical down hill RB is better off in this offense than Sanders. They don't even throw to RBs often either. So having a Physical Rb and a change up speed Rb is enough

I'd do that deal for Brian Burns. Hell, drop one of the mid rounders and offer their choice of Epenesa/Basham
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

RBs should stop allowing themselves to be classified as RBs, do the Cordarrelle thing and wear a number in the 80s if you have to, maybe agents could get involved (oof), anything to disassociate from the stigma
