Re: NFL Off Topic
Feel like they've done a good job splitting out costs (sports pack, 4k, etc) to keep the base package down.
Fully expect NFLST to be $300-$400, but hope this is the first step towards more flexible options like subscribing to a team.
Reportedly the winner of the package can't just include it in with their service due tot he broadcast TV contracts (something Apple wanted to do), requiring it be offered at a premium to help preserve the value of their games.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
In other really crappy news, former Broncos RB Ronnie Hillman, 31, is in hospice with cancer. Awful.
The Hillman family says Ronnie was diagnosed with Renal Medullary Carcinoma, a "rare but highly aggressive neoplasm form of cancer that primarily affects young African Americans with sickle cell trait" back in August.

Hillman has undergone treatment, but it has not been successful. The family says he is being kept comfortable and out of pain in hospice care.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Just seen the news about Franco, I'm truly saddened about this and cannot believe it.
I was lucky to be able to get a picture taken of myself and the actual spot at he caught the immaculate reception...there is a footprint where he caught the ball in Three Rivers that now sits outside acrisure stadium.
So many great memories I have watching Franco throughout his career, and even when he was traded to Seattle at the end of his career was always a fan of his.
This news couldn't have come at a worse time...Christmas, the anniversary of the immaculate reception and the retirement of his number.
RIP FrancoPeople are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Didn't feel right "liking" the post, but wanted to say that's horrible and **** cancer.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Truly sad say for all NFL fans. I always rooted for the Steelers when they played the hated Cowboys (who always embarrassed my Giants back then). And they've been a class organization. R.I.P. #32.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Since my Sundays are generally taken up with coaching, as long as I can catch games (and RedZone) archived or start them from the beginning after they have began, then I am okay with it.

Re: NFL Off Topic
You can start live games from the beginning on YTTV.
I use that for Packers or Nets games if I’m out and about. FF thru commercials until I’m caught up live.#RespectTheCultureComment
