Re: NFL Off Topic
Tua’s concussions this year have already rewritten the rule book, so I think it being him again after that scene we saw earlier this year will keep the spotlight on it.
I don’t know how long he’s going to last. But I also know other guys have had countless concussions and continued on, diagnosed or not. There’s other positions, like RB and LB, that I truly wonder if any player can escape their football career without sustaining multiple concussions. Those guys seem to be the worst off because it’s constant banging the head around during a game.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
NFL - Buffalo Bills
MLB - Cincinnati Reds

Pickett has had 2 concussions this season, after the second one he now has a new helmet, so yea concussions are obviously a very serious matter, and with Tua having 3 and Pickett having 2, this really needs to be addressed in the off season as to how these players are cleared to return so soon.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

I mean, isn't the actual solution for Tua to retire? Instead we get all this kabuki of concern.OSHA Inspector for the NBA.Comment

Re: NFL Off Topic
Has it been verified that the first one was a concussion and not him just entering protocol? I'm honestly not sure but I wouldn't be surprised if the first one was not a concussion because he addressed the media early the next week and never missed any practice or game time the following week.

From the articles I have seen, they are till calling it a concussion ....which was the first of the season against Tampa Bay, then of course against Balt. in both cases the back of his head slammed into the ground which is the reason for the new helmet.People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.“I believe the game is designed to reward the ones who hit the hardest – If you can’t take it, you shouldn’t play!” Jack Lambert“Quarterbacks should wear dresses.” Jack LambertComment

Either way, it's cause for concern and I'm glad he was proactive with switching to a new helmet. I'd worry a bit less though, if I knew the first one (Tampa) was just him entering protocol out of an abundance of caution.

Re: NFL Off Topic
Don't get me wrong I was a big fan of Carr but that injury he had messed him up mentally and physically After that he became a paranoid passer to the point his oops noticed
Like Joey Boss saw he bece scary and throw the ball o
ut the Pocket too fast
Carr been in the league for 9 years is enough to now what QB he is and that's Mediocre
I'm surprised it took this long to make a decision
So why everybody saying it's dumb for the Raiders to draft a QB when the Chiefs & Charges drafted two elite in the same dame division smh nobody question them
Do I have to draw spell it out for you guys
