I can't even umpire behind home plate anymore because of them. Sadly I got two other concussions this summer that kept me from any activity whatsoever.

I know all concussions are different, but he has to take care of himself first and let the money flow happen second. No one will take him on long-term if he is shown to be prone to these. The NFL has to protect him now.
That won't happen. And his heritage says otherwise too. The warriors mentality is a tough thing to get over. Only because you put your body through so much pain. This pain long term can't be seen immediately. I hate concussion [emoji24].

Tua’s concussions this year have already rewritten the rule book, so I think it being him again after that scene we saw earlier this year will keep the spotlight on it.

I don’t know how long he’s going to last. But I also know other guys have had countless concussions and continued on, diagnosed or not. There’s other positions, like RB and LB, that I truly wonder if any player can escape their football career without sustaining multiple concussions. Those guys seem to be the worst off because it’s constant banging the head around during a game.

Raiders and Carr might actually be done for real. Never thought I'd see the day.

Pickett has had 2 concussions this season, after the second one he now has a new helmet, so yea concussions are obviously a very serious matter, and with Tua having 3 and Pickett having 2, this really needs to be addressed in the off season as to how these players are cleared to return so soon.

I mean, isn't the actual solution for Tua to retire? Instead we get all this kabuki of concern.

Has it been verified that the first one was a concussion and not him just entering protocol? I'm honestly not sure but I wouldn't be surprised if the first one was not a concussion because he addressed the media early the next week and never missed any practice or game time the following week.

I don't know if it was a concussion, but there was clearly brain trauma.

From the articles I have seen, they are till calling it a concussion ....which was the first of the season against Tampa Bay, then of course against Balt. in both cases the back of his head slammed into the ground which is the reason for the new helmet.

Yeah, I've seen similar in articles I've read. I wish someone would spell it out though as in "it was a concussion" or "the team has not said it was or was not" or "it was not".

Either way, it's cause for concern and I'm glad he was proactive with switching to a new helmet. I'd worry a bit less though, if I knew the first one (Tampa) was just him entering protocol out of an abundance of caution.
