NFL produces a bunch of jerseys that would be worthless and all the companies that have inventory would be unable to sell them.

The same rule exists for players and I'm sure the NFL would let them change it now if the new owners bought all the products with the name/logo on it. Players have to pay for any jerseys to change their number but that is much smaller than all most every item having the name or logo on it.

Oh sure, the financial hit of another name change would be significant. I was just referring to the fan reaction.
Bills, Sabres, Illini, Cubs, basically any team that abuses its fanbase and I'm there.

Change the damn name. Commanders is horrible. I haven't bought any gear because of that speculation of them saying that they may change it. Plus it's just terrible.

I thought the rule was that there's a 5 year waiting period after a previous name change, and that new owners were exempted from that. But maybe I misunderstood it

Dallas and Denver can't just buy everyone, same as they can't in FA.
There is still a slight difference between GB and the other teams you mentioned. Which is why I said we would still be at a significant disadvantage and why just “paying more” wouldn’t be as simple for us in particular, especially if you’re talking about getting rid of the rookie wage cap.

We would be ****ed without that(especially in todays climate)just like we would be ****ed without a salary cap also.

Sure, public ownership has its drawbacks. But it also has it privileges, considering you've never had to have your owner extorting the government for a new stadium like Pegula and so many others, or just being a degenerate assclown like Snyder.

That being said "We can only remain competitive by forcing players to play here for below-market rates" is not a great defense of the system.

Nah, we just have sales where for $250-300, you can become a shareholder of a team and have no say in any decisions of the team.

I know because I fell for that scam lol

And I wasn’t defending the system either. Just saying what you suggested would not work for US. Couldn’t tell you what a better solution would be because I don’t know of one.

I think that just leaves Philly's Kelly Green uniforms and the Denver Broncos alternate Helmet.

Most likely will be released tomorrow. Might as well release it before Training Camp start since Philly waited to be last.
