It doesn't matter what he's done since. He hasn't done anything to make anyone like him since then. He doesn't have to.
That depends on who you're asking.

And LOL @ "it's like being in Cuba". Man stop with that.
I don't remember hearing about them quitting on Morris, it just seemed that he wasn't prepared to be a head coach and the owners didn't feel like waiting for him and the young players to improve.

First off, that's enough for anyone to hate him forever.

I hated him as a player before the dog-fighting and hated him after. I think he's overrated, overexposed, over-discussed and a gimmick more than a quarterback. I can't stand the attention he and the Eagles get from fans and media, I can't stand the fact that he had one bounce-back year and everyone was on his bandwagon again. I can't stand his brother, either. Just one garbage family.

So you hated him as a player for a bunch of stuff he has no control over? Makes sense.

Nobody hates Tebow. People hate the attention he undeservedly gets and hate the illogical fans that demand he get signed/play/start.

I don't have a problem with Vick, but people hated him before the incident for things he actually said/did.

He's not in control of how he performs on the field?

Doesn't matter anyway. His transgressions off the field are more than enough to hate him forever.

You underestimate how terrible they were until their Super Bowl era team.

From their inception in 76 (an 0-14 team) until 1996 (the 1997 season is when they went 10-6 and had a run of 6 seasons at or above .500) they had three teams at or above .500.

In 79 they went 10-6. In '81 they went 9-7. In '82 they went 5-4 and made the playoffs thanks to the strike.

Taking those 3 years out of the equation, their record from the '76-'96 season was 76-206-1. The first 2 seasons were 14 game seasons, but switched to 16 games after that (note that I'm using 16 games as an average just for the sake of ease/comparison.)

Their average record was around 4-12 (ish)
