I don't expect them to be a threat to win it all, so my confidence is what, one more game than yours? But unless these 2 latest injuries are crippling, their D is real and their offense is good about not turning the ball over. That is the basis for a solid playoff team. I'm not sure Charles (or anyone else) can be the X factor for a couple of games to take them over the top, but I do think you're writing them off too much.

I believe that Matt Flynn is more worried about his health that this guys right now.

I also won't ever care when any offensive lineman is talking about cheapshots because they're generally the cheapest players on the field. But that's just a personal feeling.

NFL has some 'splainin' to do. Why did William Gay not get fined for the hit on Campbell that was, unlike the Brooks hit, actually to the head. I was patient in my wait but it is already next week.

He basically catches a hook/forearm to the side of his head. It's the first thing that happens in the hit and it's pretty quick. Had to watch it a few times to see it, but he does nail him in the head first.

Campbell ducked into the hit a little bit just as Gay was coming in for the hit. If Campbell is upright when Gay hits him Gay's forearm likely hits him in the upper chest/shoulder area.

But I see what you're saying.

It also looks like a play for the ball.

But all of this is just silly anyway. We aren't dealing with computer AI here. Trying to review tapes to yell about flags and fines would be similar to watching different baseball games and complaining about the strike zones being different.
