The new Tampa helmets are terrible. The scale on the mark is just way too big and looks downright amateur. The designer didn't take into account at all what the design looks like in context to the facemask and different angles of viewing the helmet. Yet again, much like they did in 1997, the Bucs bowed to what was trendy instead of finding a consistent voice and look for their franchise. This is why teams like the Packers, Bears, Raiders, Cowboys, etc. look iconic across any period of time.

The new logo is nice. The lines are much cleaner and looks less like it was designed in MS Paint. By not skewing the skull and cross bones it now gives them an option to apply that piece of the logo to other collateral. And I will say, I love the new type treatment for team mark.

But those helmets. Nah.

They might as well just did something where the flag covers the entire helmet, that thing looks bad. It also looks like a decal and there is not much blending in the colors.

There isn't any video released that indicates what he's accused of is true.

What's interesting though is that the charges came out before that TMZ video was released. No way they both get charged, and in such detail, based on that video... and considering he's dragging her out of the elevator, it'd seem the "altercation" happened while they were in it. That'd mean there's at least one other video that the cops have their hands on.

Word on the street is that she spit in his face and then slapped him, and he punched (not slapped) her in return. Ray's extremely active in the community and his main focus has been an anti-bullying campaign. This is bad from so many angles... he's also coming off a horrible season where he looked slow and out of shape, had a serious injury, and seemed less happy go lucky than years past. He also just signed a huge contract so the Ravens hands will be pretty tied either way. If any punishment is assigned, it'd most likely start and end with the NFL.

There are witnesses to the fight, so I assume they also have video. If that video leaks out, there is no way the NFL cannot suspend him. They are trying to reach out to women, so pure PR move, he will be dealt with.

The only way I can see this going his way is if there were problems in the past with her hitting him. They would have to be documented or having counselors, etc able to testify. Then he could just be fed up with her hitting him and he lost it. Some women are crazy and get away with things because they are female and if the male does anything they go to jail. I'm not saying he was right, but maybe there was stuff we don't know about this past season, maybe even affecting his play on the field.

I'm not sure if there were actual witnesses or if that was just what was rumored. I think we can safely say he didn't knock her out and drag her onto the elevator without some onlooker doing something so I'm guessing the K.O. happened on the elevator. It's more likely that the police have video of what happened in the elevator, but it doesn't really matter. They were both charged so the police are pretty certain of what happened.

I'd also say it doesn't matter if the main video is linked. If he gets charged in any way, I'm sure the NFL will be able to get their eyes on it.

Finally, a history of her hitting him doesn't matter. She definitely hit him this time and that doesn't matter either. There is no story that makes him knocking her out okay. I'm pretty sure it was closed fist too, which legally is worse than an open hand.

If all this Ray stuff is true which it appears it is, cut his sorry ***. I know there are other things that go into that decision but there shouldn't be.
