""I definitely feel it's something deserving," Jackson said on locker-cleanout day, via Reuben Frank of CSNPhilly.com. "We'll see how that plays out, and hopefully we can work things out smoothly and not have to worry about anything out of the ordinary."
"Anything out of the ordinary" would include Jackson staying away from voluntary offseason workouts or holding out of training camp. The former would result in the squandering of a $250,000 workout bonus; the later would carry fines in the amount of $30,000 per day, along with partial forfeiture of his $2 million signing bonus allocation for 2014.

"But I definitely feel like it's deserving," Jackson said. "I'm proven in this league, and after this past year, went out there, no distractions, and just really put it all in for my team and went out there and had a lot of success, so we'll see how it goes."

He's due to earn a base salary of $10.25 million. Factoring in the signing bonus allocation and the workout bonus, that's a total cap charge of $12.5 million."

Desean Jackson thinks he underpaid, again...

Heard elsewhere that he's having money problems, which is why he's asking for renegotiation.

Giving a stupid person more money doesn't make them any less stupid, it just increases the magnitude of their stupidity.

I'd like to see the same matchup in a perfect world however i'm cheering madly for San Diego.

Another great matchup (and one that'd get run into the ground by BSPN) would be Wilson vs Luck Part Deux.

Does he hold out for more money or with any hope the Eagles just tell him no.

Word going around philly is he has become a vital weapon in Kelly's offensive scheme and feels he deserves more. If you notice...75% of the offensive schemes revolve around he and Shady. I think hes putting himself on a pedastal personally. Good quick reciever but has had injury issues and cant really out jump anypne

He's their best WR by far, but he's overstating his worth if he's demanding a new deal already.

Headcase Wide Receivers don't last long on teams with a Championship building mentality, and if Maclin comes back healthy, with how Cooper has stepped up I don't want to say he becomes expendable but they could feasibly overcome his departure. Wide Receivers are being dug up in the later rounds of the draft (Terrance Williams (rd.3), Keenan Allen (rd.3), Kenny Stills (rd.5).

Also I feel like McCoy, and Foles are going to be the crucial pieces for the Eagles to lock up and they need cap space for Defensive playmakers as well. Caving in to DeSean's demands could but them in a cap bind down the road.

I agree with this and as Feared is implying good WRs in today's NFL are a dime a dozen. The Eagles can easily get someone who can provide decent production for the third of the money and none of the headaches.

Jackson didn't do anything in that playoff game until Corey White(who is just awful) had to cover him and he wants a raise? Lol

Yep, all the players that thought that putting limits on draft picks salary thinking the money will go back to veterans are looking sillier and sillier. Draft smart and you can have four, five, six players playing at an extremely high level for a fraction of the price they will make as free agents in the open market. Jackson is a great fit in Kellys offense, but he isn't the only person who can fit that scheme, as its mostly the scheme not his route running that is getting him open and in these mis-matches. Yes his speed is a thread, but there isn't a lot of technique needed to do a lot of what Jackson did this season.
